Particularly, the castle Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers (we spotted it on Instagram!), which was abandoned in 1932 after a fire. Today, it looks like a chateau fit for an ice princess during the dead of winter.

Découvrez les joies de la glisse en famille, avec la station de ski Les Gets. De part et d'autre du village, 2 domaines s'offrent à vous : les Chavannes, relié avec les Portes du Soleil et le Mont Chéry, point de vue exceptionnel sur la chaîne du Mont Blanc.
Le domaine skiable propose des pistes adaptées à tous les niveaux, des circuits ski nordique, une zone débutants, un espace de glisse sur le thème des indiens pour les enfants et de nombreux restaurants d'altitude. Côté Freestyle, le boardercross Déborah Anthonioz dédié à la vice-championne olympique de Vancouver 2010 et un Jib District permettent à chacun de s'éveiller aux nouvelles glisses.

In Les Gets, ski right out of the village to have snowy fun amidst the fur trees and mountain meadows. Choose between 2 ski resorts, on either side of the village: Les Chavannes, linked to the Portes du Soleil and Mont Chéry, an exceptional view of the Mont Blanc Massif.
The ski area offers pistes suited to all ability levels, Nordic skiing trails, a beginners' zone, a Wild West winter sports area for children, and numerous high-altitude restaurants. As for freestyle, the Déborah Anthonioz boardercross slope dedicated to the Olympic silver medal winner of the 2010 Vancouver Games and the Jib District where everyone can try a new snow sport.
