West Arichat is a community in Nova Scotia, Canada which was once called Little Arichat and before that Acadiaville. West Arichat was a mission of Arichat. It became a parish in 1862. The Immaculate Conception church burnt in and was rebuilt in the 1970s.

White Point Beach Resort
New Year's Day 2017, we exceeded our goal of 150 Polar Bunny Dippers to help us kick off Canada's 150th Anniversary Year with a hop, skip and splash into the Atlantic Ocean. Not only did we have more than 170 dippers, as we sang O' Canada (very audible in this video) a double rainbow appeared across the sky and into the Atlantic...as if on cue.
