Places to see in ( Amiens - France ) Parc Saint Pierre
The St. Pierre Park is a public park of Amiens in France. It has replaced the semi-wild space around the pond of Saint-Pierre, once paradise of fishermen and campers. Designed in 1993 by the landscape architect Jacqueline Otsy, it is a green area of 22 ha, along the Somme canal, near the Saint-Leu district, the Faubourg Saint-Pierre and hortillonnages .
It is a contemporary garden. A footbridge, under the Beauvillé bridge, makes it possible to reach the pier of Hortillonnages. Another, to the south, spans the Somme and connects the park to the Saint-Leu district.
Designed according to the standards of sustainable development (no watering is to be done, no phytosanitary products are used, etc.), this project was awarded the Landscape Award, awarded by the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development in 2005 .
In 1994, the park won the Urban Parks category award. The space is organized around the Promenade des jours, 620 meters long, it is divided into several gardens:
to the west, the Labyrinth reproduces, with its clear slabs, that of the cathedral
to the east, the Glacis des Ginkgos stops at the amphitheater of greenery.
the green rooms, squares with hedges shelter various sports activities: basketball, tennis, roller-skate.
the meadow and the playground are the domain of the children

Dominica (/dəˈmɪˌnɪkə/ or /ˌdɒmɪˈniːkə/; French: Dominique; Island Carib: Wai‘tu kubuli), officially the Commonwealth of Dominica, is a sovereign island country.[8] The capital, Roseau, is located on the leeward side of the island. It is part of the Windward Islands in the Lesser Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. The island lies south-southeast of Guadeloupe and northwest of Martinique. Its area is 750 km2 (290 sq mi), and the highest point is Morne Diablotins, at 1,447 m (4,747 ft) in elevation. The population was 71,293 at the 2011 census.[5]
The island was originally inhabited by the Kalinago and later colonised by Europeans, predominantly by the French from the 1690s to 1763. Columbus is said to have passed the island on Sunday, 3 November 1493, and the island's name is derived from the Latin for Sunday. Great Britain took possession in 1763 after its defeat of France in the Seven Years' War, and it gradually established English as the official language. The island republic gained independence in 1978.
Its name is pronounced with stress falling either on second syllable of the word, after the Latin word dŏmĭnĭcă lordly, or on the third syllable, after the French name Dominique. Dominica has been nicknamed the Nature Isle of the Caribbean for its natural environment.[9] It is the youngest island in the Lesser Antilles, still being formed by geothermal-volcanic activity, as evidenced by the world's second-largest hot spring, called Boiling Lake. The island has lush mountainous rainforests, and is the home of many rare plants, animals, and bird species. There are xeric areas in some of the western coastal regions, but heavy rainfall occurs inland. The Sisserou parrot, also known as the imperial amazon and found only on Dominica, is the island's national bird and featured on the national flag. Dominica's economy depends on tourism and agriculture.

Places to see in ( Nantes - France ) Musee d'arts de Nantes
The Fine Arts Museum of Nantes, along with 14 other provincial museums, was created, by consular decree on 14 Fructidor in year IX. Today the museum is one of the largest museums in the region. The facades, roof and stairs in the building that houses the art collections have been registered as historical monuments since October 29, 1975.
On December 18, 2011, the museum closed its doors for what was initially expected to be two years at most, to carry out extension expansion work. Due to problems associate with the discovery of ground water in the foundations, which required almost four years of additional work, the reopening of the entire building (renamed the Art Museum of Nantes) was postponed until June 23, 2013.
Founded under the Consulate, the Fine Arts Museum of Nantes receives work purchased by state and the central museum deposits (the Louvre). It takes from the 19th century where it was an important place in the French public collections through the purchase by the city of Nantes in the collection of the brothers Pierre and François Cacault. The fund, with major works, were later supplemented by several other direct or law given gifts, and a purchasing policy supported by the friends of the museum. Compounding this today adds to this rich set of deposits of work of the Regional Contemporary Art Funds of the Loire and the Centre Pompidou.
The museum offers an overview of all the main French and European art movements, which places its collections among the largest public collections of province alongside some of Museums of Fine Arts of Valenciennes, Grenoble, Lyon, Lille and Montpellier. It benefits in 1804 and 1809 to send to the state of 43 paintings taken from the reserves of the Central Museum. These works came from the former royal collection, from churches and convents of Paris of the revolutionary and Napoleonic conquests. But it is the purchase of the collection by the Cacault brothers by the city in 1810 that gives the museum of Nantes its riches and variety. According to an inventory conducted in 1818, the collection Cacault was then the richest collections of painting that existed outside of Paris, since it had 1,155 paintings, 64 sculptures, and 134 collections of prints.
Jules-Dupré course is a paved road that connects Georges Clemenceau St. to Gambetta St. along the west side of the museum. The entry is from the beginning, limited by gates at each end to allow exclusive use by the museum. Its name, decided in 1899, is a tribute to the painter Jules Dupré (1811-1889.) The boundary of the protected area of Nantes goes through the middle of the road. The Fine Arts Museum is not part of the protected area
