Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.

1. GRS Fantasy Park
Located just 15 minutes drive from Mysore, GRS Fantasy Park is an amusement and water park that serves perfectly as a picnic spot for everyone. Set amid a lush green environment on the Mysore-Bangalore highway, it has been a part of several memorable holidays and unforgettable memories for the past 13 years.
2. Mysuru Sand Sculpture Museum
Spread over an area of 13,500 sq ft, the Sand Sculpture Museum in Mysore attracts tourists from all over the world because of its uniqueness of being the only museum in India that is dedicated to sand sculptures. A 15-feet-high sand statue of Lord Ganesh welcomes visitors to this open air space. The nearly 150 sculptures in this museum have been carved out of 115 lorry loads of sand, with the museum being designed to be eco-friendly.

The Railway Museum at Mysore, India is an outdoor exhibit of vintage locomotives. The Railway Museum was established in 1979 by Indian Railways, the second such museum after the National Railway Museum in Delhi.

7. Chamundeshwari Temple
The Chamundeshwari Temple is traditional Hindu temple located on the eastern edge of Mysore at the height of 1000ft on the Chamundi hills. Dedicated to and named after goddess Durga, the temple also has statues of Nandi and Mahishasura, the demon.

Kuduremukha is a mountain range and name of a peak located in Chikkamagaluru district, in Karnataka, India.It is also the name of a small hill station cum mining town situated near the mountain, about 48 kilometres from Karkala and around 20 kilometres from Kalasa. The name Kuduremukha literally means 'horse-face' (Kannada) and refers to a particular picturesque view of a side of the mountain that resembles a horse's face. It was also referred to as 'Samseparvata', historically since it was approached from Samse village. Kuduremukh is Karnataka's 3rd highest peak after Mullayangiri and Baba Budangiri. The nearest International Airport is at Mangalore which is at distance of 99 kilometres.
10.Bannerghatta National Park
Bannerghatta National Park, near Bangalore, Karnataka, was founded in 1970 and declared as a national park in 1974. In 2002 a portion of the park, became a biological reserve, the Bannerghatta Biological Park.
