Places to visit in Northern Ireland - we included some of our favourite locations all across the North ( of Ireland ) also known as NI :-) There are so many more attractions to visit - but these are some of the locations we were lucky enough to visit recently.

We have been asked what are the best places to visit and what are the best things to do in Northern Ireland. This video is the start of a collection we will produce to answer this question. Some are traditional tourist attractions - others places locals tend to only know about.
For all those who once thought that Ireland is not filled with places they could visit, we are here with this video to prove them otherwise; Ireland is actually filled with lots of hidden gems that might not even fit in the days you are staying in the country; there are a lot of things to discover and visit in order to make your experience complete.
There are some general tips related to Ireland which we want to share with you if you are putting this country as your next destination. First of all, there are those beautiful days with the good weather but mostly there is the normal gloomy and rainy day in this city, so having something to protect you from the rain and warm you if you are cold is considered a must.
In addition to the weather, you should know that one of the interesting ways to get to know Ireland is through taking any of the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus tours because in addition to the drivers who will most probably provide good information, these buses bring you too close to the landmarks that you want to visit, and at the same time might take you through streets which you have never considered walking through because you know nothing about or would have reached your destinations through using the underground.
And most importantly, make sure that if you are going to travel in winter - which is something we do not recommend because it would be very cold - you will need to make the right plan because the day is so short in winter and you might not be able to see all the things you planned to go to during the same day. Know where the landmarks are, choose those which are close to one another in order to visit during the same day, and always check when they open their gates and when they close in order not to end up going to a place that has already been closed before you could arrive.
Northern Ireland Tourism is exploding - and no wonder...I guess its only right we share our great location attractions with people from around the world :-)

Adventurin' Across the UK in 10 Days — UK by Rail | The Travel Intern
We had SUCH A BLAST exploring the UK — we visited Edinburgh in Scotland, explored the areas Bangor, Caernarfon, Snowdonia National Park in Wales, and the beautiful city of London with day trips out. As with every trip to London, it wouldn’t be complete without visiting Trafalgar Square and seeing beautiful landmarks like the London Eye, Big Ben (it was under construction when we were there!), Tower Bridge, etc.

We highly highly highly recommend getting to the top of the dome (via stairs within the cathedral, of course). It gives you BEAUTIFUL views of the city and it’s pretty cool up there, literally and figuratively :-)

No, this is not the London Bridge that we sang nursery rhymes about in school. Haha. Check the timings to see when the bridge will be lifted to allow certain vessels to pass!

Try one of London’s oldest living fast foods here! Warning: Jellied eels might not appeal to everyone’s tastebuds, but Sherry did enjoy it. Can’t say the same for Travis though. Tip: The chilli/spicy sauce they provide is pretty amaze~

Vintage lovers would LOVE this place. Especially over the weekend! We weren’t really vintage lovers, but we also enjoyed exploring this market. The food was also amazing. Tip: The grilled cheese sandwich is the BOMB!!!!!! There was only one store serving grilled cheese, and the smell is really strong, so…. It should be easy to spot.
DAY TRIP OUT OF LONDON
01:25 - Windsor Castle
We were there when the royal baby was born! It was especially cool because the vibes were amazing, and people were in such high spirits!
Nevertheless, the Windsor Castle is the world’s biggest and oldest occupied castle. Maybe you could catch a peek of the Queen when you visit!
01:33 - Roman Baths
Visit the ancient Roman baths in… well, Bath. The place is one of the world’s best-preserved religious spas. Get to try a sip of spring water from the springs there too! Again, warning: Might not appeal to everyone’s tastebuds. Interesting though!

How could we not visit the Stonehenge when we’re in UK?? Quite a magical and mystical experience, we have to say.
WALES
01:55 - Snowdonia National Park
We took the Snowdon mountain railway up! In the winter, it doesn’t go to the peak (Llanberis) though. The peak is actually the highest point in Wales! We really enjoyed the hike down too.

Super yummy fish&chips are served here. Be sure to try their specialty, mushy peas too! Great meal :-)
02:26 - Caernarfon Castle
Explore the castle and outside of it too! In the evenings, the streets outside the castle have lots of people chilling and having drinks by the river.
EDINBURGH
02:39 - Arthur’s Seat
Hike up to the highest point in Edinburgh! It gets SUPER windy up there, to the point that both of us couldn’t stand straight without holding onto a rock or each other for support. Be dressed appropriately!

Visit some of Scotland’s oldest buildings that are still in this castle!
03:01 - Papii Cafe
Strawberry? Yup. Bacon? Yup. Strawberry and bacon??? WOT?? We had this reaction too. But this place was highly recommended by a friend, and so we decided to give it a try. Omg, the two complemented each other so well atop fluffy, yummy buttermilk waffles! It gets pretty crowded during breakfast, so do come early or try to avoid peak hours.

We chanced upon this little eatery while exploring the streets of Edinburgh. They serve pulled pork roast rolls and the portions are SO generous! We were so stuffed!

A real jewel of the city of Nice. It is in these terms that expresses the barrister Edward Scoffier in his work, carried out with Felix whitewashed, the Consiglio of Ornato1. Since its progressive construction initiated in the 1820-1830 years, the Massena is deeply inscribed in the Nice heritage. While accompanying the Riviera city in its entry into modernity, it is now a central area of the city of Nice. Marked by its singularities as architectural and geometrical, the Massena has well passed its almost two centuries of life Nice. In fact, many times subject to management plans, it has emerged gradually as a nerve center of the city, ideally located between Old Nice and Jean-Doctor and close to the famous Promenade Avenue the English. Because of its importance in transportation of the city, its location and by hosting events of all kinds, cultural, social, artistic or political, it became a center of Nice heritage. Behind the term cultural heritage must obviously see, not an element of the past, but an entity participating in the proliferation and the excitement of the Nice culture. Place Massena is also an extremely important place for the dissemination of this identity Nice as it allows the encounter with the native tourists as well as the discovery of the Nice culture, especially through the carnival, the people outside the city . The origins of this symbolism may be found in its very name, the name of Marshal Andre Massena French patriot firmly attached to his origins Nice symbolizing perhaps some national dimension whose place has. All these features make this area a unique place that Nice will not hesitate to defend and preserve, as they are aware of the importance it represents in their heritage. Thought, at the base, in a general plan for the beautification of the city of Nice, it can legitimately be considered one of the greatest successes of the Consiglio Ornato. Its almost two centuries of life have given instead, over time, a prominent importance for the Riviera city and its uniqueness. The various forms of demonstrations or performances, whether cultural, social or political, enabled, and it is still the case now, to emphasize the growing importance of the Place Massena in the life of the city of Nice. Thought initially as a simple beautification project, recovery of Spangle then the different arrangements made on the Place Massena made her a real nerve center of the life of the Riviera city as well as an indispensable element the Nice heritage. Some can only say that this ambitious project launched by the Consiglio of Ornato was not a complete success for the city of Nice. Especially since the recent developments with work for the green corridor but especially the return of the streetcar while demonstrating the commitment of local authorities and citizens in the development and preservation of that place, allows the even anchor a little more in the Nice cultural heritage. Place Massena is also an agora or forum, the ancient sense of the terms. It is a space where political protests, and sometimes fighting, can express themselves. There are different types of political demonstrations. Firstly, those which are organized by the powers that be or are the result of politicians wanting to address the crowd. This type of event has existed on the Massena in time. Indeed, since 1941, the Vichy regime which then controls the free part of France, decided to organize the great festival of the celebration of Joan of Arc on the Place Massena. The maneuver is obviously a source of propaganda but it is also a time when some of Nice clearly state their support for the regime. This is highly symbolic to evoke the speech of General de Gaulle of 9 April 1945 issued from the balcony of City casino. Indeed, almost a year after the release of Nice (28 May 1944), the leader of the Free French forces in the city just to go to Nice and offers something of a counterweight to the historical events organized by the Vichy regime. These two events are obviously symbolic because characteristics of rallies it was possible to carry on the Place Massena. The space was, with the disappearance of the Municipal Casino, more airy and more conducive to hosting events of magnitude as modest in size, with a political objective.
Visit Kilkenny - What to See & Do in Kilkenny, Ireland
Kilkenny, Ireland is about an hour and a half from Dublin and well worth the drive or ride. If you are wondering what to see and do when you visit Kilkenny you will be pleasently surprised with the number of churches, historic sights and pubs to visit. From the 12th century castle, to the Irish music playing in the pubs to the Medieval Mile there are plenty of things to enjoy in Kilkenny. Not to mention the fresh Smithwick's beer!
