We’ve built a lot of ships over the years, but for a truly unique experience at sea, you’ve gotta see our latest, Carnival Vista. Carnival Vista has a whole new relationship to the sea, and you get to experience this as you explore the Caribbean with all-new views. It’s only natural that you’ll want to start outdoors, so let’s. You can’t help but have your eye caught by — wait, are those flying bicycles? Pretty much! SkyRide at SportSquare is a twin-track suspended bike course — strap in and race around for the win or just cruise for great views. At Havana Bar & Pool you’ll find an island retreat that evokes classic Cuban-style lounging with an emphasis on style… and on views, and on traditional cocktails! Carnival WaterWorks is packed to the gills with wet ways to get-a-splashin’, including Kaleid-O-Slide which adds funky light and color effects to the usual “speed-n-splash” story. If you can’t get enough Guy Fieri, we invite you to try at Guy’s Burger Joint and Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse. Rounding out this ship’s sunlight highlights is Serenity Adult-Only Retreat, the low-key grown-up spot that’s more lounging and hot tubs than action and adventure. (But Serenity’s complimentary chopped salad station gets our inner grown-up excited!) Indoors, things are every bit as cool. Take RedFrog Pub & Brewery for example — yes, you read right, the latest incarnation of our Caribbean-cool pub has a fully-functional onboard brewery that produces exclusive craft beers you can enjoy just feet from the brewing kettle. If you do seafood, you’ll want to direct your appetite to Bonsai Sushi or the seaside Seafood Shack, while JiJi Asian kitchen and Cucina del Capitano are prepared to satisfy cuisine-specific cravings. Of course Carnival Vista features a Dr. Seuss Bookville and youth activities for all kinds of kids (the smallers, the tallers and the in-betweens). On the stateroom side, Carnival Vista adds two new types of rooms to the mix: Family Harbor is a special area reserved for families and features a private 24-hour lounge and concierge service. All Havana staterooms and suites are located just off the Havana Bar & Pool and feature a unique tropical décor, while Havana Cabanas add a patio with hammock chair! One last thing you should know: on Carnival Vista more onboard places than ever before span the indoors and outdoors — so whether you set the thermostat to “cool-and-crisp” or “sea-breezy perfection” you’ll enjoy your kind of Caribbean comfort on Carnival Vista.
The ship which was delivered on April 28th 2016.[9] Sea trials were completed in March 2016. The ship's maiden voyage embarked on May 1, 2016 from Trieste, Italy on a 13-day Europe Cruise that ended in Barcelona, Spain. Carnival Vista is the first ship in the Vista-class cruise ships. The ship was christened in New York by its godmother, Miss USA 2016Deshauna Barber.
On August 28, 2016 the wave caused by the ship's maneuver caused extensive damage to the tourist harbor of Marina del Nettuno, near Messina (Italy).
By gross tonnage (and therefore volume), she is the largest ship within Carnival Cruise Lines's fleet. The ship was constructed in the Fincantieri shipyard of Monfalcone (Gorizia) and was delivered in April 2016. The first steel for the ship was cut in late February 2014, and the keel was laid in October 2014.[9] The Carnival Vista Coin Ceremony/Float out was done in June 2015.[
Carnival Vista is the first Carnival cruise ship fitted with ABB Azipod propulsion units since the 2004-built Carnival Miracle.[8]
From May to October 2016 Vista operated an inaugural season in the Mediterranean before repositioning to New York to offer a pair of cruises. She then moved to her new homeport in Miami in November 2016 where she sails year round (until September 2018 when she will move to Galveston Texas). She offers 6 and 8 day Caribbean cruises with ports of call such as Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire.[14]

The KUNDALINI SAILING starts from here to conquer the Caribbean.
THE STORY
¯̅¯̅¯̅¯̅¯̅¯̅¯̅¯̅¯̅
My affection for sailing started when I was a child. Once, when I was on holiday at Lake Balaton, near to Fonyod city, I glanced a slim and beautiful sailing boat emerging from behind the reeds. It was love at first sight! Unfortunately, as I grown up in the Great Plain of Hungary, I could not get near to sailing. Because of that, I was just staring at boats through my father’s binoculars, sitting on the shore during my holidays. It was a classic, heavy, black, Russian binocular. I was just walking around the boats in the harbour, looking at them, and making dreams.
I managed to get close to shipping in 2006. At that time I settled down with a 25 foot sailboat in the harbour of Balatonaliga. I have been dealing with shipping since that time. The usual inland adventures came after that: circling around Lake Balaton many times and mostly alone. Later Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Spain and France followed, and I even managed to sail in Norway, for two weeks. At the beginnings, I used to try to partner up with others. I kept my eyes open, made observations and learnt a lot. We used to participate in competitions at the Adriatic Sea, but all of these were not enough – maybe it is not the best word here – for me. Somehow it was not a complete thing… I wanted to sail alone… alone and a lot. Then some years alone came on the Mediterranean Sea. That was an amazing period in my life. I crossed the ocean two times. I went to the Caribbean, the Far East, and so on. I visited these places alone in most cases.
It became clear to me that I must deal with sailing… I had to find a boat suitable for taking a journey around the world, which has a higher comfort level compared to those ones I used before. I used to cross the ocean by a boat in which did not even have a bed … I slept on a large backwind sail. I know life is not easy. I could be at home, watching TV programs broadcasted by National Geographic or travel channels. That would be safe, but I prefer to face challenges of everyday life: I make things fixed, I do sewing, cooking, fishing and I am ready to stay up at night, to be soaked by rain and so on. I want to be here … where everything is so different. This way is everything is so fine and complete for me. Soon I will reach the 30,000th marine mile.
I found Kundalini in March of 2017. In April, I arrived with four suitcases (three of which contained tools) with my friend, Tomi on board and together we started performing those endless tasks, which have already been listed by that time. There is no part of the boat which would not have been polished, cut, replaced or painted in the five months. I know the boat well!
1st of September – almost ready to start the journey!
9th of September – my girlfriend and I left Athen by the Kundalini (BLOG). Journey has started! We reached Gibraltar through Greek, Albanian, Italian, French and Spanish waters and sailed to the ocean.
I am writing these lines in the port of Guadaloupe, Terre de Haut city. There is a great deal of memory of adventure, landscape, taste and experience behind our backs.
I feel that I have managed to build a boat which I was always craving for.
Travel with us and live the KUNDALINI feeling.
