Patna is the largest town and headquarters of Patna district, Patna division and Bihar state. Patna is the capital of Bihar state. It is located on the south bank of the river Ganga. It is well connected by railway and road. It is mainly an administrative and educational centre of Bihar. It has however a few ancient sacred places as also places of tourist interest.
Rice is the main crop of the district. It accounts for more than one third gross area sown. Other important food grains grown are maize, pulses and wheat. Non-food crops consist mostly of oil-seeds, cash crops such as vegetables, water-melons etc. are also grown in Diara belt.

This is the full raw footage filmed by some Japanese people on friday March 11th, 2011, during the tsunami which occured in northern Japan, following the 8.9 magnitude earthquake.
According to the video, it was filmed in the Miyagi Prefecture (宮城) in the city of Kesennuma (気仙沼市) which has 74,000 inhabitants.

Haridwar-Ganga ghat
Haridwar (Hardwar), literally means 'gate way to God'. It is located on the banks of Holy River Ganges(Ganga). It is also known as Mayapur and one of the Hindu holy places in India. Once in twelve years , it hosts Kumbha Mela. Haridwar is about 200 kms from Delhi, capital city of India.Haridwar is a gateway to the Himalayan pilgrimage shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath.Here the Ganga ghat is known as Brahmakund. Hari-ki-pauri is the most popular ghats in Haridwar. Every day in the evening twilight Ganga aarti is performed here with 'diyas' to river Ganga. Every hour thousands of pilgrims take a holy bath in this river at this place.

Most known is Geeta Bhawan and Swarg Ashram and these temples are very important in Hindu society.

Dwarkadish Mandir,Dwaraka Gujarat
The Dwarkadhish temple, also known as the Jagat Mandir and occasionally spelled Dwarakadheesh Gujarati State in India is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is worshipped here by the name Dwarkadhish, or 'King of Dwarka'. The main shrine of the 5-storied building, supported by 72 pillars, is known as Jagat Mandir or Nija Mandir, archaeological findings suggest it to be 2,200 - 2,000 years old. Temple was enlarged in the 15th- 16th century. The Dwarkadhish Temple is a Pushtimarg temple, hence it follows the guidelines and rituals created by Shree Vallabhacharya and Shree Vitheleshnathji.
According to tradition, the original temple was believed to have been built by Krishna's grandson, Vajranabha, over the hari-griha (Lord Krishna's residential place). The temple became part of the Char Dham pilgrimage considered sacred by Hindus in India, after Adi Shankaracharya, the 8th century Hindu theologian and philosopher, visited the shrine. The other three being comprising Rameswaram, Badrinath and Puri. Even today a memorial within the temple is dedicated to his visit. Dwarakadheesh is the 108th Divya Desam of Lord Vishnu on the subcontinent, glorified in the Divya Prabandha sacred texts.

Jai Ganga Maa Har Ki Pauri (हर की पौड़ी) is a famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This revered place is the major landmark of the holy city of Haridwar. Literally, Har means Lord Shiv who is the god according to shaivite Rishav Bhagwan school of Hindu theology, Ki means of and Pauri means steps. Lord Shiv and Lord Vishnu are believed to have visited the Brahmakund in Har Ki Pauri in the Vedic times.
