Bauang, officially the Municipality of Bauang, is a 1st class municipality in the province of La Union, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 75,032 people.Bauang is 259 kilometres from Metro Manila and 10 kilometres from San Fernando, the provincial capital. The MacArthur Highway runs through the town, which junctions with Naguilian Road, one of the mountain roads leading to Baguio City.

    The Hundred Islands National Park is the first national park and a protected area located in Alaminos, Pangasinan in the northern Philippines. The islands, totaling 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide, are scattered in Lingayen Gulf covering an area of 16.76 square kilometres . Only three of them have been developed for tourism: Governor Island, Quezon Island, and Children's Island.
