Berdychiv Monastery of the Discalced CARMELITES

Monastery of the Discalced Carmelites (Berdychiv) 1642 A.D.
The monastery was founded in 1627 by Janusz Tyshkevych - Kyiv governor and chief steward of the Kiev region. First, he gave the monks his castle, and in 1634 by strong walls, construction began on the church walls.
In the early 18th century after the rebellion barefoot monks returned to the monastery and rebuilt and reinforced fortress and built a new church in the Baroque style.
1925 the Bolsheviks founded the fortress historical museum, the monastery was saved from total destruction. Finally in 1991 he was again returned to the Catholic monks.

We leave Turchynivka and go to Raygorodok. On the way we passed the village Vakulenchuk, we were lucky to meet there welcoming woman she works as a seller. She helped us with charging batteries, copying data from memory cards to HDD and advised to slightly change the route. Then after village Vakulenchuk we go to Berdychiv, there we ate at the cafe and went to bed at the city beach. At the next day we visited to monastery of the Barefoot Carmelites.

Виїжджаємо з Турчинівки і направляємось у Райгородок. По дорозі ми проїжджали село Вакуленчук, нам пощастило зустріти там привітну працівницю магазину. Вона допомогла нам із зарядкою акумуляторів, зі скиданням інформації з карт пам'яті та порадила трохи змінити маршрут. Після Вакуленчука ми поїхали до Бердичева, там поїли у кафе та лягли спати на міському пляжі. На наступний день відвідали монастир Босих Кармелітів.

Выезжаем из Турчиновки и направляемся в Райгородок. По дороге мы проезжали поселок Вакуленчук, нам повезло встретить приветливую работницу магазина. Она помогла нам с зарядкой аккумуляторов, с переброской информации с флешек на жесткий диск и посоветовала немного изменить маршрут. После Вакуленчука мы отправились в Бердичев, там поели в кафе и лягли спать на городском пляже. На следующий день посетили монастырь босых Кармелитов.
