Borgo Priolo is a comune in the Province of Pavia in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 km south of Milan and about 25 km south of Pavia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,399 and an area of 29.0 km².Borgo Priolo borders the following municipalities: Borgoratto Mormorolo, Calvignano, Casteggio, Fortunago, Montalto Pavese, Montebello della Battaglia, Montesegale, Rocca Susella, Torrazza Coste.

Torrechiara is a frazione of the comune of Langhirano, in the province of Parma, northern Italy. It is especially known for its massive castle, built by Pier Maria II de' Rossi , count of San Secondo, between 1448 and 1460. The building was thought not only as a defensive structure, but also as mansion for the count's lover, Bianca Pellegrini, for which a famous hall, the Camera d'Oro was built with decorations by Benedetto Bembo, sibling of Bonifacio Bembo. Scenes of the 1985 film Ladyhawke were shot at the castle.

Le strade lastricate che di colpo si aprono in deliziosi slarghi e piazzette, chiesette, monasteri, ruderi di castelli. E poi i Peloritani, ideale continuazione dell’Appennino calabro, e i Nebrodi, i monti più boscosi della dorsale, a cingere in un abbraccio piccoli borghi medievali.
Tutto questo è il Distretto Turistico Tematico Regionale “EcoSicily - Parchi, Riserve e Terre dei Normanni”, un’area territoriale rappresentata da 35 Comuni, ricadenti su tre distinte province siciliane.
E’ la terra dei contrasti quella che si scopre giungendo qui: verdi colline ondulate e ampie vallate del Parco naturale, punteggiate da laghetti e ruscelli, cedono il posto a panorami mozzafiato sul mare, i colori del bosco si mescolano alle acque cristalline del litorale tirrenico, dove lingue di sabbia si inoltrano in mare aperto e le testimonianze storico-artistiche sono eco di un passato ancora presente.

Thus far arriving here, it turns out that this is a land of contrasts: green wavy hills and wide valleys of the Natural park, speckled by lakes and brooks, replaced by a breath-taking view over the sea, the colours of the wood combined with crystalline bodies of water of the Tyrrhenian coast, where sandbars reach the deep sea and where historic and artistic statements are the eco of a past still current.
