Brewer is a city in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. It is part of the Bangor, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city is named after its first settler, Colonel John Brewer. The population was 9,482 at the 2010 census. Brewer is the sister city of Bangor. The two are at the head of navigation on opposite sides of the Penobscot River estuary and are connected by three bridges. Brewer and Bangor were originally both part of Condeskeag Plantation, though the Brewer part was also called New Worcester after John Brewer's birthplace. Brewer is the sister city of Bangor. The two are at the head of navigation on opposite sides of the Penobscot River estuary and are connected by three bridges. Brewer and Bangor were originally both part of Condeskeag Plantation, though the Brewer part was also called New Worcester after John Brewer's birthplace. In 1788 Orrington, Maine was incorporated with Brewer/New Worcester as its major village. The other half of Condeskeag incorporated in 1791 as Bangor. Finally, in 1812 Brewer broke away from Orrington and incorporated as a separate town.

Vacationland Village Inn Brewer, Maine This is a $150 a night Suite?

This is the Suite at the Vacationland Village Inn & Suites at 453 Wilson St. in Brewer, Maine that I paid 149.75 a night to stay in. This was supposed to be a nice romantic getaway for my husband and I on our Anniversary. The website for this Inn States that all of their rooms have been renovated and redone. They show 4 beautiful Suites at the cost of approximately 150 a night. If you look at those ..you will see that this was DEFINITELY NOT a $150 a night room. It's more like a $65 rundown hotel room with a 2 man hottub from the 1980's that didn't even work right, half the jets didn't work and the motor was so loud you couldn't hear anything over it even with the TV at full volume! The Carpet was worn almost bare, I am NOT Impressed with the New Vacationland Inn at all.

Coolest Mcdonalds Ever in Freeport Maine!

I found this Mcdonalds in Freeport Maine and had to check it out. Apart from the obvious difference in the building design this Mcdonalds also served food that can't be found in other regions of the U.S. such as a lobster roll and blueberry pie. I found this interesting and hope you do as well.
