Swiss Cheese and Chocolate Factory Tour in the Medieval Fairytale Village of Gruyère
This is probably our sweetest video so far! Follow us to the world renowned Cailler Swiss chocolate factory and find out how it's made, how it found its way to Europe and guess what the best part is? You can win a real chocolate straight from Switzerland! All you have to do is answer Angelique's question in the video :)
We also visit the Gruyère cheese factory and tour a medieval village that takes you to the land of Once Upon a Time...

Creepiest Place in Switzerland: HR Giger Museum
HR Giger museum also known as the Alien museum has been on my bucket list for many years due to it being one of the most bizarre museums in Europe and as an avide fan of the Alien movie franchise especially Alien, Aliens & Alien 3. A creation by HR Giger where he displays all his incredible surreal art works.
The Alien franchise is one of my favorite movie series out there, the surreal science-fiction horror genre became one of my favorites after watching these movies. I am extremely looking forward to the upcoming movie Prometheus 2 which will undoubtedly feature more of HR Giger's design even though sadly HR Giger passed away in 2014.
Checkout my photos from Gruyeres and the HR Giger museum:
In order to drive to Gruyeres, we made a few pit stops at Lausanne, Montreux, Chateau de Chillon and Broc where we visited the Cailler chocolate museum. At least visiting the HR Giger comes with a very enjoyable road trip since no airport is nearby Gruyeres thus very hard to get to.
Lausanne was exceptionally beautiful with its gorgeous the waterfront which must have been one of the best in the country. Basel was a quiet little town at which my mom and I parted ways, I jumped on the TGV heading towards Paris and my mom headed for Germany.
In conclusion, Switzerland is one of the most incredible destinations in Europe but be warned, this country can be very expensive if you don't prepare accordingly.
Where: HR Giger Museum
Price: 12.50 CHF ($13.00 USD) per person
Watch the entire Alien Series which HR Giger help design, like my favorites; Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 & Prometheus

Lausanne, Switzerland - travel video Full HD
Lausanne is a city on Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland. It’s home to the International Olympic Committee headquarters, as well as the Olympic Museum and lakeshore Olympic Park. Away from the lake, the hilly old city has medieval, shop-lined streets and a 12th-century Gothic cathedral with an ornate facade.
Lausanne has a population of 146,372 making it the fourth largest city in Switzerland, with the entire agglomeration area having 420,000 inhabitants.
The city has a 28-station metro system, making it the smallest city in the world to have a rapid transit system.

7 Days in Switzerland: Lausanne, Zermatt, Geneva
Fun and delicious 7 days in Lausanne, Zermatt, Geneva (Genève). Food was great. Pricey but good value. Moved around by train. Tickets purchased w/ SBB Mobile app. Super easy once setup (but there was some learning curb). I don't think full day passes are needed. Looking forward to next trip (Zurich, Bern, Interlaken, Lucern).
My Switzerland Trip: Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Maison Cailler | Travel Vlog
