We're still here in Menorca, Spain. And, as you can probably tell by the energy at the start of the video, we've been having some bar nights here so far. It's been a bit of a party. But, we're also doing workshops. I led one on drone flying in the morning, and then in the afternoon we continued our socializing and fun.
We started by hanging out at the Barcelo Hamilton which has this beautiful rooftop bar with views of the sea. Then, we headed off to the coolest bar ever.
This Menorca Cave bar is called Cova d'en Xoroi which is set into the cliffs over the sea. It is absolutely amazing. It's actually one of the coolest bars I've ever been to. I'm not sure there's a more spectacular place in the world to have a drink.
We were only planning on spending an hour at Cova d'en Xoroi, but the location was so epic that we ended up staying for over 2 hours and got some beautiful views of a stunning Menorca sunset.
After leaving the cave bar, we retreated to our hotel to end the night.

Menorca Coastline: Historic Fascinating and Unique
Menorca Coastline: Historic Fascinating and Unique.Pirates, in the middle ages, made the Island their haven in the Mediterranean. Twelve invaders, since 252 BC, used Menorca as a base, to control the seas.Spain's Balearic Islands are all so different, Majorca (Mallorca) is the largest and Ibiza the smallest holiday Island in the Balearics.
A legacy of this turbulent past is the Cami de Cavalls (the path of horses). No one can be certain of the origins of this coastal track. Some say it could date from the Christian conquest of the island in the Middle Ages. However in the 16th and 17th centuries bands of armed men would travel the coast to support the Watch Tower keepers who spotted any suspicious ships.
Following recent restoration it once more gives tourists, on foot or on horseback access to many miles of unspoilt coastline. The idyllic cove of Cala Macarella can be reached via a footpath from Cala Galdana in about 30 minutes. There is a small bar and toilet facility at Cala Macarella. Nestling in the horseshoe bay enclosed by impressive pine covered cliffs is a small cove of Macarelleta.
Along the south coast in the East, between Biniparratx and Llucalari is Cala Biniparratx, Cala Binidali, Cala En Porter, Cales Coves, Cala Sant Llorenç and Cala Llucalari.
Cales Coves is a national historic monument as it contains Archaeological remains from the Talayotic age. Close to these coves you will find Torre de En Galmes which is regarded as one of the most important prehistoric settlements in the Balearic Islands.
The resort of Son Bou and its famous long sandy beach are found at the foot of the La Vall and Es Bec gorges. Son Bou is home to a large marsh and dunes complex. At the eastern end of the beach are the ruins of the early Christian basilica of Son Bou which was built between the 5th and 6th centuries A.D.
From Son Bou the southern coast takes you past San Tomas, Binigaus and on to Cala Mitjana, There are the gorges of Trebalúger, Binigaus and Algendar, as well as virgin coves such as cala Excorxada, cala Fustam and Trebalúger. In this area there are numerous archaeological sites most notable is the cave of Es Moro.
Many of these beaches offer water sport, boat trips, pedalos and snorkeling.
At the western end of the south coast as you head back to Ciutadella there are some of the best known beaches of Minorca. The coves of Macarella, Macarelleta and En Turqueta are worth a visit. Turning north along the west coast you pass through the Camí de Baix area by Cala Degollador, where you will find the Castle of Sant Nicolau.
Ciutadella, the islands second port and former capital is a further fascinating insight into the islands remarkable maritime history.

Menorca, Spain
Menorca (Minorca) is one of Spain’s Balearic islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Traditionally more low-key than its neighbors, Mallorca (Majorca) and Ibiza, it’s known for its endless beaches, from miles-long sandy crescents to rocky, turquoise-watered bays called “calas.” Pine trees fringe the coast.
