BARCELONA WALK | Citadel Park incl. Waterfall and Boating Lake | Spain
A first-person perspective Barcelona walk tour of Citadel Park (Parc de la Ciutadella), a beautiful park with monumental waterfall, boating lake and Parliament of Catalonia building.
Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of Barcelona, featuring a walk in Barcelona's Citadel Park (Parc de la Ciutadella). The tour begins outside the park's north-western entrance on Passeig de Pujades, then takes a gentle stroll through the park, finishing towards the southern end of the park by the entrance to Barcelona Zoo.
Sights seen along the tour include the Castle of the Three Dragons (Castell dels Tres Dragons), modern sculpture by Antoni Clave, tight-rope walker, boating lake, monumental waterfall (Cascada Monumental) built for the Universal Exposition in 1888 and designed by Fontsere, gold ‘Chariot of Aurora’ (‘Quadriga de l’Aurora') sculpture by Rossend Nobas, Mammoth (Mamut), sculpture ‘To the Catalan Volunteers’ (‘Als Voluntaris Catalans’) by Josep Clarà, Joan Fiveller Square (Plaça de Joan Fiveller), Parliament of Catalonia (Parlament de Catalunya), school (Institut Verdaguer), place of worship (Parroquia Castrense de la Ciutadella), equestrian statue of General Prim (Estàtua eqüestre del general Prim) by Lluís Puiggener, and entrance to Barcelona Zoo (Parc Zoològic de Barcelona).
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded June 2017.

The Coolest Bar Ever | Menorca Cave Bar | Travel Vlog
Today's travel vlog takes me to the coolest bar ever in Menorca, Spain.

We're still here in Menorca, Spain. And, as you can probably tell by the energy at the start of the video, we've been having some bar nights here so far. It's been a bit of a party. But, we're also doing workshops. I led one on drone flying in the morning, and then in the afternoon we continued our socializing and fun.
We started by hanging out at the Barcelo Hamilton which has this beautiful rooftop bar with views of the sea. Then, we headed off to the coolest bar ever.
This Menorca Cave bar is called Cova d'en Xoroi which is set into the cliffs over the sea. It is absolutely amazing. It's actually one of the coolest bars I've ever been to. I'm not sure there's a more spectacular place in the world to have a drink.
We were only planning on spending an hour at Cova d'en Xoroi, but the location was so epic that we ended up staying for over 2 hours and got some beautiful views of a stunning Menorca sunset.
After leaving the cave bar, we retreated to our hotel to end the night.

Places to see in ( Barcelona - Spain ) Parc de la Ciutadella
Places to see in ( Barcelona - Spain ) Parc de la Ciutadella
The Parc de la Ciutadella is a park on the northeastern edge of Ciutat Vella, Barcelona, Catalonia. For decades following its creation in the mid-19th century, this park was the city's only green space. The 70-acre (280,000 m2) grounds include the city zoo (once home to the albino gorilla Snowflake, who died in 2004), the Parliament of Catalonia, a small lake, museums, and a large fountain designed by Josep Fontserè (with possible contributions by the young Antoni Gaudí).
A substantial part of the district it was constructed in (La Ribera) was destroyed to obtain the necessary space, leaving its inhabitants homeless. The fortress was characterized by having five corners, which gave the citadel defensive power, and by a rather wide surrounding margin, serving as location for the army's cannons. It included enough buildings to house 8,000 people.
Hundreds of Catalans were forced to work on the construction for three years, while the rest of the city provided financial backing for this and for warfare-related expenses as well, with a new tax named el cadestre. Three decades later a quarter was rebuilt around the fortress named Barceloneta, which is located inside the neighborhood Ciutat Vella.
The zoo of Barcelona is located in the park of the ciutadella due to the availability of a few buildings which were left empty after the Universal Exposition of 1888. It was inaugurated in 1892, during the day of the Mercé, the patron saint of the city. The first animals were donated by Lluís Martí i Codolar to the municipality of Barcelona, which gratefully approved of their accommodation in the zoo.
The Museum of Natural Science, sited in the park, comprises a museum of zoology and a museum of geology. The museum of zoology was constructed for the Exposición Universal de Barcelona (1888) by the architect Lluís Doménech i Montaner to serve as an exhibition. Most of the building is constructed of red brick. The most popular displays are the skeleton of a whale and exhibits dedicated for smaller children.
The Barcelona Metro and Trambesòs station Ciutadella-Vila Olímpica, on L4, is named after the park and the nearby area Vila Olímpica. The entrance to the park, however, is closer to the metro and Rodalies Barcelona (commuter train network) station Arc de Triomf. The city's central bus station Estació del Nord is also close.
( Barcelona - Spain ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting Barcelona . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Barcelona - Spain
