Albay is a province located in the Bicol Region in southeastern Luzon of the Philippines. Its capital is the city of Legazpi, the regional administrative center of the whole Bicol Region, which is located in the southern foothill of Mayon Volcano, the symbol most associated with the province.



Transportation
By water
Albay is the region's principal trans-shipment point with its ports: Tabaco International, Legazpi National, Pio Duran Provincial, and the Pantao Regional Port.

By air
Traveling to the province by air is served by the Legazpi Airport, the province's gateway from Manila and Cebu City in the Visayas. The larger Bicol International Airport is under construction in the municipality of Daraga, west of Legazpi City.

* The worst thing that happened to me while traveling so far was when I was held by the immigration officers in Paris. I made a mistake in my visa application and I actually overstayed in France. But all is well, they did let me go. And they were very nice to me. They even offered me cookies.

Sumlang Lake Full Review

Sumlang Lake 2017
Sumlang Lake is located in P-1 Sumlang, Camalig, Albay
Legazpi, Albay. If weather permits it boast a majestic view of
Mayon Volcano. It was open to public last 2013

The Road is too narrow for passenger bus. Van can still fit.
Parking lot are wide inside.

Note: As of July 2017
Operation hours:
Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm
Friday-Sunday 6:30am-6pm

Entrance Fee 20php per head
Parking lot
20php 2 wheel
40php 4 wheel

Food Kiosk offers snacks and drinks
mostly open on weekends

Camping & Swimming is not allowed at this time.

Activites

Balsa Tour (bamboo rafting w/ guide) - 25php/head
Kayaking - 50php/head for 30mins
Aqua Biking - 50php/head for 30mins
Floating cottage 200php/hour (under repair)
Prenup Photoshoot
300php/hour includes Photographer and free use of bamboo raft

Solong Eco Park is a private owned with natural habitat when climb it offers a view of Quitinday hills, Mt. kitwinan, calabidongan cave and Mt. Mayon Volcano. This Hills is like Chocolate hills of Bohol but it's more greener.

Coconut Trees and Guava Fruits are abundant, since it's a natural park tourist should not go off the man made trail because snakes are a possible encounter like we saw a yellow snake on the bushes.
