VISITING MY LOLA IN CABUYAO LAGUNA | PHILIPPINES TRAVEL VLOG
Cabuyao City in Laguna, Philippines is about 1 hour south of Manila. Cabuyao is where my mom was born and raised. We visit my Lola which means Grandmother in Filipino who I haven't seen in years! We also visit the house that my parents built over the property of which my Mom grew up. It's a Filipino Family Reunion in Cabuyao and Jaycation catches up with Cousins, Aunties and Uncles or in Tagalog Pinsans, Titas and Titos.
We also explore Cabuyao and head to the Cabuyao Cemetery to visit my Grandpa (Lolo Barok) at his grave and pass by the Cabuyao Palenke or Marketplace and finally have a Jollibee Mukbang with Maddy and a couple of my cousins!
At Jollibee we try Pancit Palabok, Chicken Joy with Spaghetti, Burger Steak with Lumpia and Rice, Tuna Pie, Peach Mango Pie and Ube Pie! It's a fast food fest at Jollibee!
Also see Cabuyao by drone.

Exploring Lumot Lake, Secret River and Pauwin, Cavinti, Laguna | Nix Tries Vlogging
*Watch in 480px to appreciate* We traverse to Cavinti and jump off the Secret river.. And we learn about an Ancient Dialect in Pauwin, which even neighboring barangays don't know much about!
Lumot lake is home to the watersports festival of Cavinti that happens around the 2nd week of May. It has lots of islets/ islands that are up on Air Bnb which you can rent for a day or two! Also... Love the fresh fish you can get here any time of the day!

OPPO F1s and CDR-King Actioncam for the vlog

Roadtrip: Kamay ni Hesus (Lucban Quezon)
Roadtrip: Kamay ni Hesus (Lucban Quezon)
FIRST STOP: Padre Pio Shrine
The National Shrine and Parish of Saint Padre Pio Commonly known as Padre Pio Shrine,
is a parish church and pilgrimage site situated at Brgy. San Pedro, Santo Tomas, Batangas, Philippines. Is consecrated to the Italian Saint Pio of Pietrelcina.
The rector and parish priest Rev. Fr. Joselin C. Gonda envisioned this concept for the main church, to have a place of worship and prayer that is distinctly Filipiniana, eco-friendly and adapted to the tropical climate of the site surrounded by a very green environment, making it a unique, serene and welcoming atmosphere drawing pilgrims to pray, to reflect and to be inspired by God and the nature God created.
SECOND STOP: Kamay ni Hesus
The Kamay ni Hesus Shrine at Lucban in Quezon is a sought-after pilgrimage destination known for its miraculous healing masses and the steep hill that leads to a majestic Risen Christ statue. Given the Philippines’ rich Catholic culture, it is no surprise that thousands of devotees flock here, especially every Holy Week to repent, reflect, and give thanks
Before you reach the town of Lucban, you will have to pass through the numerous towns in Laguna including Los Baños, Bay, Victoria, Pila, Sta. Cruz, Pagsanjan, Cavinti, and Luisiana. The Shrine is one kilometer away from Lucban town proper.
What to Buy:
Religious keepsakes
There is a Religious Store beside the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church where you can buy key chains, rosaries, healing oil, books, and figurines of various sizes. Prices of rosaries, necklaces, and bracelets starts at PHP 25.00, and figurines can be bought for as low as PHP 50.00.
Pancit Habhab
Lucban’s signature dish will complete your Quezon Province visit and you sure can find it within the vicinity of Kamay ni Hesus Shrine. Pancit Habhab is usually served on a piece of banana leaf and is meant to be eaten without the use of any utensils. Each serving is only worth PHP 10.00.
Lucban Longganisa
You can also find a store within the area which offers the aromatic and garlicky Lucban longganisa. Its price ranges from PHP 75.00 to PHP 150.00 per kilo.
Other goodies, pastries, and delicacies
A few steps from the foot of the hill shrine are stores where you can buy local specialties that Lucban is known for. For only P35 per piece, you can buy broas biscuits, pinagong, and otap for your family and friends.

Ambon Ambon Falls Panguil River Eco Tourism Park Laguna
A wonderful trekking experience in the Panguil River Eco Tourism Park Laguna going to Biak na Bato Ambon Ambon Falls. It was a lot of fun going there, suited for all ages. Always be safe by wearing life jackets and slowly walking along the slippery rocks. Some part of the water is deep but the current is not strong so you can swim.
Just vist the Panguil River Eco Park FB page for the updated prices. The video was taken way back June of 2014.
