Welcome to Singapore, one of the smallest countries in the world. Singapore is an island state located off the southern tip of the Malaysian peninsula in Southeast Asia.
Besides being the world’s 2nd wealthiest country (second only to Qatar), Singapore is extremely clean and safe, boasting superior air quality and of course tons of great things to see, do and eat!
Welcome to Gardens by the Bay one of the most amazing and botanical gardens in the world. A few things you can see here is the flower dome, the cloud forest, several gardens and the supertrees.
The Supertrees are living and breathing sculptures rising above the gardens. For epic views, head up to the top of these supertrees and stroll along the 22-meter-high aerial walkway known as the Skyway to experience the Marina Bay area from a bird’s eye view.
Next up we visit China Town! It's a great place to do some souvenir shopping, eat some local Chinese food and walk around.
One of the highlights about visiting Singapore is to eat at a hawker center. This is a huge food court full of stalls. You need to eat Indian, Malaysian and Chinese. It's very inexpensive!
The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of Asia’s most iconic buildings and home to the world’s most renowned infinity pool. To visit the pool you must be a guest of the hotel, but you can experience incredible views from the Skypark observation deck or from one of the 57th floor restaurants.
Welcome to the Singapore Zoo! It was founded in 1973, we take a quick tour through the zoo to see the asian animals. Singapore Zoo was the first zoo in the world to have free roaming orangutans.
The River Safari is located right next to the Singapore Zoo. It’s a fascinating journey through some of the world’s largest river systems like the Nile and the Mississippi. I was especially excited to visit the Giant Panda Forest.
We are inside Thian Hock Keng Temple. It was constructed in the 1840s using the best materials from China at the time. In 1973 it was declared a national monument. Admission is free!
Orchard Road is a major tourist attraction, and when you look around it’s easy to see why. This is where you come for some serious retail therapy, and with more than 10 shopping centers, there is plenty to choose from. The 20-storey Paragon is perhaps the most famous along the strip, with stores like Gucci, Prada and Burberry. It boasts over 200 stores in all.
The Singapore Flyer is the worlds largest observation wheel. This ferris wheel has 28 capsules, each fits 28 people and it takes 28 minutes to do a complete rotation.
Little India is where the Indian community settled in over 200 years ago. Now a days it is a commercial district. They have converted these shop houses into restaurants, shops, jewelry stores and offices. It's a great place to buy gold and try indian food!
Singapore’s Changi Airport is second to none! You may actually want to have a layover here because of how many things there are to do – from a butterfly garden, to shopping and dining, relaxation areas, movie theatre, art installations, a swimming pool, and much much more.
Changi is my favorite airport in the world!

Top 10 Best Places to Visit in Singapore.
At this point, I trust everybody ought to have heard that Singapore was a dull angling town ever. In 1965, Singapore abruptly got itself a free state as it was requested that leave by different states after racial and political strains prompted riots in the between Chinese and Malays. With no characteristic assets and couple of commercial ventures, Singapore went from quality to monetary quality, adding to its port offices, budgetary administrations, IT industry and refineries, building swathes of streets, open lodging and healing facilities. Even still, there are plenty of places to visit in Singapore today.
Individuals had now thought that it was difficult to monitor the progressions Singapore had, particularly in tourism industry. So Singapore pumped various shots of adrenaline in this industry by having Formula One Night Race, Arts and Musical scenes from universal acts and working on incorporated resorts and clubhouse. Along these lines, be it a stopover or only a getaway, you need to see the main 10 attractions in Singapore.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Top 10 ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Movie Locations to Visit in Singapore
A travel guide to visit the 10 best ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ filming locations in Singapore. Crazy Rich Asians is a love letter to the food, culture and beauty of Singapore and in this video I’ll take you through the top attractions in Singapore that you saw in the movie. We’ll start with Changi Airport, one of the world’s best airports. When they land, Rachel comments that it “looks like an upscale tropical resort.” Changi Airport has a butterfly garden, koi fish ponds, and even a three story slide that you can ride!
2 - Newton Food Centre
Their first stop in Singapore. Nick Says: Each of these hawker stalls sells just one dish, and they have been perfecting it for generations. One of the only places in the world where street vendors win Michelen Stars.
3 - Marina Bay Sands
Probably the most famous location in the movie. One of the final scenes in the movie is shot on top of the 57th floor bar with the amazing infinity pool in the background.
4- Merlion
The Merlion is a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish that is widely used as a mascot and national personification of Singapore. 1 million people per year visit the merlion.
5 - Singapore Flyer
Singapore’s tallest Ferris Wheel, and the 2nd biggest in the world.
6 - Raffles Hotel
Where they stayed, which opened in 1887. -- you too can stay here if you have 10,000 SGD per night for a suite. Under renovation until 2019. Sip a Singapore Sling in the bar where the gin-based cocktail. You can tell that Singapore is a foodie country that with 10 food and beverage spaces that represent more than 1,100 seats for just 115 suites, it can claim far more tables than beds
7 - Chinatown Bukit Pasoh Road
This picturesque street is lined with preserved Peranakan shophouses.
8 - CHIJMES
Across the road from Raffles, it’s a 19th-century gothic chapel turned into a function space is the location for the grand wedding.
9 - Sentosa Island
This small island is home to beaches, hotels, spas, and in Crazy Rich Asians, Nick retreated to his friend Collin’s house on Sentosa, and Rachel’s friend Peik Lin invited her to a spa on Sentosa.
10 - Gardens by the Bay
Probably my favorite attraction in Singapore -- the Gardens by the Bay is where the wedding reception was held, in front of the Supertree Grove. Come at 7:45 or 8:45pm for the music and light show on the Supertrees.

OVERNIGHT IN CHANGI AIRPORT--The Best Airport in the World: Singapore // 208
I pulled an all-nighter in Changi Airport exploring everything there is to do while on a layover in Singapore. They say it's the best airport in the world and I must say I agree!
Do you have a layover in Singapore? Or more exactly, a layover in Changi Airport? (There's enough going on in Changi Airport that you almost don't even need to visit the city!)
Don't fear having to stay overnight in Changi Airport. For starters, you're not the only one. Transfers and layovers in Singapore are super common, which is probably why they've invested so much in their transfers terminal. Also, it's the best airport in the world!
So, you're there, it's 1am, and you've got 6 to 16 hours to kill. What do you do in Changi Airport?
Here's what I did:
1. Get a free foot massage (or two)
2. Visit the Enchanted Garden
3. Visit the Orchid Garden
4. Color with crayons
5. Visit the Xperience Center to watch sports
6. Visit the Rooftop Sunflower Garden
7. Watch a movie in one of two movie theaters
8. Eat at the 24-hour food court
9. Use the free Wi-Fi
10. Gawk at the anti-gravity art
11. Watch the planes and sun rise at the Viewing Mall
That's not even everything! There's plenty more to do at Singapore's Changi Airport. For example, you may notice Sleeping is not on the list.
YES, you can sleep at Changi Airport. You'll hardly be the only one. Some get cozy in the movie theater, others simply find an empty spot of a hallway, and others take advantage of the many lounge chairs placed around the airport. It's unlikely anyone will bother you. But you might get stepped on if you take a floor-spot in the movie theater.
The best airport in the world has acquired the title for good reason. You'll hardly run out of things to keep you busy while staying overnight in Changi Airport. You might even catch some Zs.
