Ordrupgaard is a state-owned art museum situated near Jægersborg Dyrehave, north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum houses one of Northern Europe’s most considerable collections of Danish and French art from the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Ordrupgaard was founded 1916–1918 by former Hafnia managing director, titular Councillor of State Wilhelm Hansen and his wife Henny Hansen.

Forstbotanisk Have , or Charlottenlund Arboretum, is a small unit under the Hørsholm Arboretum, which in turn is operated by the University of Copenhagen's Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management. It is located in the grounds of Charlottenlund Palace north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Forstbotanisk Have focuses on having as many different species as possible, while the main unit of the National Danish Arboretum in Hørsholm also focus on assessing various species for use in gardens and parks and in the forestry business. Founded in 1835, it has more than 600 species. It is open to the public from 7 AM to sunset.

The palace was named after Princess Charlotte Amalie, who was responsible for the construction of the original palace. From 1935 to 2017, the building has housed the Danish Biological Station , later renamed Danish Fishery Survey and in the final years called DTU Aqua. It is now a cultural event venue. The Great Hall is occasionally used for classical concerts.

Christiansborg Palace is a palace and government building on the islet of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the seat of the Danish Parliament (Folketinget), the Danish Prime Minister's Office and the Supreme Court of Denmark. Also, several parts of the palace are used by the Danish monarch, including the Royal Reception Rooms, the Palace Chapel and the Royal Stables.

Copenhagen Free / City Beaches

If the sun is shining, temperatures are over 25 degrees, and it's the weekend, get ready to see Copenhagen transformed into the most incredible display of beautiful people and ultra hot bodies in the world. Who would know the icy Danes had all of that under the jackets, ready for summer!?!? Well, the city is right on the water and it helps immensely that said water is extremely clean, surprisingly transparent and the city has created dozens of über-cool-ultra-scandinavian-designed bathing places for all to go FOR FREE. Yes yes, if you happen to catch the sun rays wile in CPH in the summer, there's no better place to be!

KLAMPENBORG BELLEVUE BEACH NEAR COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

After a walk in the Bakken amusement park (also located in Klampenborg) we went to the beautiful Bellevue Beach (about 10km north of Copenhagen) for some relaxation and great views. We hope you'll enjoy what you see as much as we did!
