PARIS
00:19 - Louvre Museum
It's the world's largest art museum! A definite must-see, and a definite bucket list place to visit. Be prepared to hustle through the insane crowds in front of the Mona Lisa though.
00:28 - Arc de Triomphe
This is the centrepoint of Paris, and it is this very arc that commemorates the fighters and warriors that have been through Napolean times!
00:32 - Sacré-Cœur
Also known as The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, this church has been around since waaaayyyy back, from the pagan times through the Middle Ages and French Revolution.
00:34 - Notre Dame
The gothic architecture is a key element of its beauty, be sure not to miss it while in Paris!
00:39 - Versailles
One of the grandest palaces in Europe, you can spend an entire day walking through, basking in the beauty of this place.
00:44 - Sainte-Chapelle
This site is not as popular as Notre Dame though just beside it, but it definitely deserves its fair recognition! There are 15 huge panels of stained glass windows that are so mesmerising!
00:48 - Eiffel Tower
'Nuff said. Haha. It is a beauty.
00:54 - Mont Saint Michel
Take a day trip to this island and experience one of the most visited landmarks in France.
LOIRE VALLEY
01:15 - Château de Chenonceau
Built over the river Cher, this castle is one of the more famous castles in Loire Valley.
01:21 - Château d'Amboise
Did you know that Leonardo da Vinci was laid to rest here in the private chapel of Amboise Castle?
COLMAR
Visit this quaint little town where stepping in almost feels like stepping into a fairytale!
MARSEILLE
01:55 - Toinou Les Fruits de Mer
Be sure to get your seafood fix here! Really affordable and fresh~
02:03 - la porte de L'orient
A monument where you can get to experience and witness beautiful sunsets over the mediterranean sea.
02:08 - Notre-Dame de la Garde
You definitely won't miss the landmark of Marseille. Perched atop a hill, bask in the beauty of the gold statue of Mother Mary carrying baby Jesus.
02:17 - Palais Longchamp
Take some time to relax and unwind in the park here!
02:23 - Calanques National Park
Who says France only has monuments within the cities? Take this chance to head out to the beautiful national park for picturesque views overlooking the vast nature.
NICE
02:43 - Vieux Nice
The capital city of the French Riviera, take your time and explore the beautiful alleys of this old town.
02:47 - Castle Hill
Get a bird's eye view of the town of Nice atop Castle Hill! 10/10 would recommend. It's nothing too strenuous!
02:56 - Le Cloucher
Indulge in one of the local special dishes, Moules Marinière, here at affordable prices.
03:03 - Villefranche-sur-mer
Take a day trip out here and explore this medieval beach village.
03:15 - Èze
We highly recommend going to visit the village's hilltop garden, where you get unobstructed views of the French Riviera. This place is also within walking distance of the train station of Nice!

When in France do as the French do: Shop at the hypermarket!
The French love their daily visits to la boulangerie and other neighborhood stores, but like many people in the rest of the Western world, they also like deals and convenience. They have shopped at les hypermarchés (hypermarkets,) since the 1960s. French Girl in Seattle takes you around one of these superstores and shares her favorite products and shopping tips.
What you will learn in this video:
- Find your way around a French hypermarket and learn handy shopping tips.
- Pronounce French words and brand names.
- Identify some of the best products one can buy in a French supermarket.
Tutorial / Things to Remember:
- un hypermarché (a hypermarket, a superstore) (Edouard) Leclerc, Carrefour, Auchan, Géant Casino, and more, typically located in the suburbs.
- This store's location: le 93 (la Seine St Denis, east of Paris.) All French administrative geographic subdivisions are identified with two digits (found in postal codes and other places.) Downtown Paris is 75.
- La parapharmacie: Quality beauty products found in most pharmacies or in the parapharmacie section of many hypermarkets.
- Apéritif (Apéro:) Refers to a favorite French ritual similar to Happy Hour, and to food and beverages served to celebrate that special time of day (saucisson, dry sausage, being a favorite.)
- Bio (biologique,) organic products. Trendy!
Disclaimer: Brie is a cheese, and also a region outside Paris, not a city. The two main cities where Brie is produced are Meaux and Melun. I realized this while listening to the video afterwards! ;-)

10 Things To Do In Luxembourg City | Top Attractions Travel Guide Travel Video Transcript:
Well, welcome to Luxembourg! The only Grand Duchy in the world. Over the next few days we're going to be exploring the capital of Luxembourg City and this is going to be a little city guide to show you some of the highlights.
Located smack dab in between Germany, France, and Belgium, the little Grand Duchy of Luxembourg can be easy to miss if you're not looking carefully, however, we're of the opinion that this is a beautiful destination that you'll definitely want to make time for. From picturesque neighbourhoods with cream coloured walls, to dazzling views of blue rooftops in the Old Town below, Luxembourg City is a charming destination that you'll want to add to your European itinerary.
So this hear is the Corniche and it is a pedestrian promenade which has been called the most beautiful balcony in all of Europe because it gets some spectacular views of the old town.
So we are now entering the Bock Casemates and apparently this was the old fortification of Luxemborg and it was known as the Gibraltar of the north.
This was once one of the most envied fortresses in all of Europe.
Right now we're visiting the Three Towers which are remnants of an old fortress.
We've been walking around a neighborhood called the Grund which is directly below the city center. And it is really picturesque and without tourists.
So behind me we have Saint Michael's church which is the oldest church in Luxembourg. The first church to be built on this spot dates back to the year 987, however, the church was destroyed, rebuilt, and renovated many times over the centuries.
The Palace houses the Grand Duke's office and during the summer months.
There is no shortage of museums in Luxembourg City, so we took some time to visit the National Museum of Art and History.
We are now looking at the Passerelle which is Luxembourg's very own viaduct.
So we are now standing in William Square which is a really popular spot on Sundays and Wednesdays because local vendors setup shop and they sell all kinds of things from fresh produce, to flowers, street snacks.
So final thoughts of Luxembourg. Alright, to wrap things up here it was a really cool city. It is the type of city that you can explore in just one or two days. A weekend type of destination because a lot of the attractions are nearby one another. And we just found it a very easy city to get around in on foot.
So as a little travel tip if you're planning on being in the city for a few days we really recommend the Luxembourg Card. This is what we used while we were here and it is really good for public transportation across the city. Across the country actually and you also get access to seventy different galleries, museums, historic attractions and it is not that expensive. I mean it depends on whether you get a family or an individual card but we really recommend it because we made a lot of use of it.
Our visit to Luxembourg City was short and sweet, but we hope this video gave you a little taste of what it's like. Now it's your turn: have you ever been to Luxembourg? If so, feel free to share some of your tips in the comments below.
This is part of our Travel in Luxembourg series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Luxembourg culture, Luxembourg foods & Luxembourg cuisine.

City in France
Tours is a university town between France's Cher and Loire rivers. Once a Gallic-Roman settlement, today it's a university town and a traditional gateway for exploring the chateaux of the Loire Valley region.
Major landmarks include the cathedral, Saint-Gatien, whose flamboyant Gothic facade is flanked by towers with 12th-century bases and Renaissance tops.
