BHUTAN | PHUENTSHOLING | TOP 3 Places to visit in 1 Day
Hello Friends, Lets go to Phuentsholing which is a border city of Bhutan. You can visit Phuentsholing by road crossing through Jaigaon (West Bengal)
The India-Bhutan border at Phuntsholing clearly separates two very different peoples and cultures. Jaigaon across the border is larger, bustling and loud, similar to many other West Bengal centres of commerce, albeit with many Bhutanese shoppers. Phuntsholing is uniquely more urban than other Bhutanese towns as it is the Bhutan financial, industrial and trading capital. It has been affected a little by the neighbouring culture, but is distinctly far more quiet and orderly than its neighbour.
Unlike other cities in Bhutan that offer terrain and amazing scenic beauty, Phuentsholing is the perfect mix of traditions, beautiful landscapes, beautiful monestries, modern life and culture. There is a lot more to Phuentsholing than meets the eye. The city is a hub for different community of people living in perfect harmony, be it Bhutanese, Nepalese or Indians. For this very reason, Phuentsholing is a must-visit.
On your trip to Phuentsholing, look out for these places to visit in the city:
Zangto Pelri Lhakhang
Karbandi Monastery
Amo Chhu Crocodile Breeding Centre
