Grimsby, also known as Great Grimsby, is a large town and seaport in Lincolnshire, England, on the South Bank of the Humber Estuary close to where it reaches the North Sea. Grimsby is the administrative centre of North East Lincolnshire.
Grimsby developed as a major sea port on the east coast of England, hosting the largest fishing fleet in the world by the mid-20th century. The fishing industry declined dramatically after the Cod Wars. Since then the town of Grimsby has battled with post-industrial decline. Since the 1990s the local council has encouraged food manufacturing.
The Grimsby–Cleethorpes conurbation acts as the cultural, shopping and industrial centre for a large area of northern and eastern Lincolnshire. People from Grimsby are called Grimbarians; the term codhead (plural codheads) is also used jokingly or disparagingly, often with reference to Grimsby football supporters. 22 January is Great Grimsby Day.
Grimsby lies 15 miles from the nearest motorway, the M180 which continues as the A180 into the town and acts as a link to the national motorway network. Grimsby's bus service is provided by Stagecoach which took over the original Grimsby-Cleethorpes Transport in 1993.
Grimsby also has rail links via Grimsby Town railway station and Grimsby Docks railway station. There is a level crossing in the centre of the town across Wellowgate. Grimsby was home to two tramway networks: the Grimsby District Light Railway and the Grimsby & Immingham Electric Railway.

Growing Up in Grimsby, England
Many of you have asked me about the place I grew up in England: Grimsby. Long before I moved to the United States, Grimsby is where I spent the first 21 years of my life. It was here, in what I then believed to be the approximate center of the universe, that I developed many of my perspectives on the world. For example, that there was undoubtedly a barge in every town or that referring to chewing gum as spoggy was what every English-speaking person did. Little did I know during my childhood years that Grimsby was, in fact, just a mere dot on the face of a very vast planet.

Worksop is the largest town in the Bassetlaw district of Nottinghamshire, England, on the River Ryton at the northern edge of Sherwood Forest. Worksop is about 19 miles (31 km) east-south-east of the City of Sheffield.
Worksop is also twinned with the German town Garbsen. Worksop is attracting an increasing quantity of commuters to the local area because of its close proximity of Nottingham, Lincoln and Sheffield.
Worksop is known as the Gateway to the Dukeries, because of the now four obsolete ducal principal sites of which were closely located next to each other, south of the town. These four ducal locations were; Clumber House, Thoresby Hall, Welbeck Abbey and Rufford Abbey.
Worksop lies on the A57 with links to the A1, M1 and A60, allowing goods to be easily transported into and out of the area, explaining whyWilko and B&Q both have distribution centres in the area.
Worksop is on the Sheffield-Lincoln line, with trains to Sheffield, Doncaster, Meadowhall Interchange, Lincoln, Retford, Gainsborough and Shireoaks. The service is run by Northern. Worksop is also the terminus of the Robin Hood line to Nottingham and Mansfield, a service run by East Midlands Trains. At weekends Northern rail run additional trains to Cleethorpes via Worksop.
Mr Straw's House, the family home of the Straw family, was inherited by the Straw brothers, William and Walter when their parents died in the 1930s. Clumber Park, south of Worksop is a country park, also owned by the National Trust, and is open to the public.
The Acorn Theatre is a 200-seat performing arts venue in the town centre. The Regal Centre has been taken by local businessmen, Martin Gilfoyle, Steve Broadbent and Chris Frampton to provide live entertainment and recording studio facilities including professional live music and arts performances and arts training courses and social support services. This is Worksop's only prime entertainment venue. The Savoy Cinema was opened on 23 March 2012.

This abandoned water park was part of a resort that went abandoned a few years ago. The water park closed down in 2015 because kids kept getting sick with E Coli after swimming there. Doncaster, is a large market town in South Yorkshire, England. Together with its surrounding suburbs and settlements, the town forms part of the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster . The Doncaster skyline is dominated by the minster in the middle of the town. The Frenchgate Shopping Centre holds an important position in the skyline, along with the Doncaster College Hub building and Cusworth Hall. Cusworth Hall is an 18th-century Grade I listed country house in Cusworth, near Doncaster. Set in the landscaped parklands of Cusworth Park, Cusworth Hall is a good example of a Georgian country house.
Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, Doncaster is about 20 miles (30 km) from Sheffield, with which it is served jointly by an international airport, Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield in Finningley. The Doncaster Urban Area includes Doncaster and the neighbouring small village of Bentley as well as some other villages.
Doncaster sits on the European Route E15 and is the starting point of European Route E13. The E13 connects Doncaster, Sheffield, Nottingham to London. Doncaster is a European hub with a new international airport, Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield opened in 2005. Doncaster International Railport facilities link to the Channel Tunnel.
From around the 16th century, Doncaster embraced the wealthy stagecoach trade. This led to horse breeding in Doncaster, which in turn led to the start of horseraces there. Recent leisure developments include a new community sports stadium for sports teams including the towns men's football club, Doncaster Rovers F.C.
