    The musée du Président Jacques Chirac , commonly known as musée du Septennat. It's a museum located in Sarran, in the French departement of Corrèze, in the Massif central, 30 km northeast of the city of Tulle. It houses the collection of objects offered to Jacques Chirac during his presidency, a library, as well as a space for temporary exhibitions. It was inaugurated on December 15, 2000 by Jacques Chirac. The building was designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte.

    Lascaux is the setting of a complex of caves near the village of Montignac, in the department of Dordogne in southwestern France. Over 600 parietal wall paintings cover the interior walls and ceilings of the cave. The paintings represent primarily large animals, typical local and contemporary fauna that correspond with the fossil record of the Upper Paleolithic time. The drawings are the combined effort of many generations, and with continued debate, the age of the paintings is estimated at around 17,000 years . Lascaux was inducted into the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in 1979, as element of the Prehistoric Sites and Decorated Caves of the Vézère Valley.

    Neanderthal Museum is a museum in Mettmann, Germany. Located at the site of the first Neanderthal man discovery in the Neandertal, it features an exhibit centered on human evolution. The museum was constructed in 1996 to a design by the architects Zamp Kelp, Julius Krauss and Arno Brandlhuber and draws about 170,000 visitors per year. The museum also includes an archaeological park on the original discovery site, a Stone Age workshop, as well as an art trail named human traces. All signs in the museum as well as the audio guide offered by the museum are available in German and English.
