Here's a travel video I made when i visited Dapitan City in Zamboanga del Norte. Dapitan is one of my favorite cities in the Philippines because of its laid-back feels.

Exploring the tourist spots in Dapitan City and Dipolog City!
This video will show you some of the most visited tourist spots in Dapitan City and Dipolog City. It also features Jose Rizal Shrine, and what are inside the well known Rizal Museum. Been through Gloria de Dapitan's fantacy land also but unfortunately everything was not featured in the video because we we're so busy exploring that we forget to capture those moments.
P.S.: Early morning walk on Dipolog City's will be very refreshing. A morning jog is advice.

Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte: Off the Beaten Path of Mindanao (Cinematic)
During my vacation in Dipolog City (capital of Zamboanga del Norte), I was invited to visit and feature this small, quiet but majestic town of Rizal which is about 38 kilometers from Dipolog City. I am always in search of the off beaten path and Rizal is exactly what I was looking for.
The places we visited there are only known by locals hence no other tourists were there but us. Yahoo! Though further developments may still be necessary on most of the areas we've been to, but Rizal has a full potential to become a preferred tourist destination in Zamboanga del Norte.
THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO VISIT:
** MURCIELAGOS BAY - Some spots within the bay are very shallow with white sand and other spots has coral reefs and a marine sanctuary which makes it a perfect destination for swimming and snorkeling. You may just rent a boat to take you to those spots. **From the video, we stayed at the Bantay Dagat Quarters that's currently being constructed where we had our lunch and get a chance to talk with the locals to know more about the town.
** RIZALINA HILL - Excellent for beginner hikers. The way going up the hill is very easy which will only take you to about hour hike. Pathways and rest areas have been built which makes it also suitable for adventurous family to hike. View from above is spectacular - overlooking the Murcielagos Bay. During holy week, locals climb the hill to do penitence and Way of the Cross.
** BAYANIHAN ISLAND - Just few meters from the port, locals enjoy their day here to have a picnic and cliff jumping during high tide.
** MANGROVES STROLL - Take a break from swimming and snorkeling to stroll along the mangroves just by the Murcielagos Bay. The mangroves as explained by Manong Dodo is where most of the dangit fish are harvested that Filipinos love to have for breakfast.
** RIZAL TOWN CITY HALL - A huge lying statue of Princess Maniway is one interesting spot have those Instagram worthy photos.
Hotels are not yet available in Rizal. You may either take a hotel from Dipolog City / Dapitan City or have a homestay in Rizal.
