Things to Do in Tulsa, OK | 10K Road Trip Vlog Day 16
We spent our second day in Tulsa exploring the city. We saw a lot of great art deco architecture and a lot of random sites, including the 5th tallest statue in the US and a spot claiming to be the Center of the Universe. It was weird. And cool.
This is Day 16 of our 10,000 mile road trip across the US.

Our Gear:
Canon G7X Mark II: (it’s amazing and basically sees in the dark)
Canon G7X: (the original is almost as good, but less expensive)
Joby Gorillapod: (fantastic versatile bendy tripod – this is the slightly smaller “action” version that’s easier to travel with and comes with a mount for a camera and a gopro)
Macbook Air: (we edit everything on Final Cut Pro on a Macbook Air, which is light and easy to travel with)
External Hard Drive: (the videos are a little too big for the macbook air to handle, so I edit everything off an external hard drive)

Best zip line ever -- and it's in Oklahoma!
We Googled around looking for fun things to do in Oklahoma as we were passing through on our way somewhere. We found Air Donkey Zip Line in Davis, OK. Now, having experienced their amazing tour, we think it should be #1 on the list of fun things to do in Oklahoma. Highly recommended. If you've zip lined in other places, you'll enjoy the sheer variety of Air Donkey's route. You go ground to tower, tower to ground, tower to tower, over a lake, over a quarry, across a suspension bridge, and everything in between. There's even a fun golf game at the end. If you've never zip lined before, they take very good care of you and teach you everything. Nobody leaves the bunny slope until you know how to be safe. My 10-year-old son, an experienced zip liner, was in tears of fear at the start of the first run. By halfway through the course he was sad it was going to end. And for the three days all he talked about was which of the 6 runs he liked best, and argued with us about our favorites. So nobody should be scared away. Try it and you'll be hooked.
