How to get from Domodedovo airport to Moscow City Centre
For foreigners getting from Moscow airports to their preferred accommodation might be tricky. This video offers tips and tricks on how to get the best rates and make your arrival as comfortable as possible.
If you happen to arrive in Russia at Domodedovo Airport, there are a couple of things you should know. If a local needs to get a taxi they use services such as Gett, Yandex Taxi and Uber. However, if a foreigner tried that he would end up with a massive bill from their phone provider.
Another option is this “Taxi Stand” if you pay by cash you will be charged 3000 Rubles, which is almost 3 times the actual price. The most practical way for foreigners to get a cab is to approach the Gett stand. It only costs 1100 Rubles if you order it through the app.
The fastest and cheapest way of getting to Moscow is an Aeroexpress. The trains arrive in Moscow Paveletskaya railway station and depart every 30 minutes. You can pay for your ticket by card or even using Apple Pay.

Landmark of Russia - Kremlin Moscow
The Moscow Kremlin, usually referred to as the Kremlin, is a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River to the south, Saint Basil's cathedrals and Red Square to the east, and the Alexander Garden to the west. It is the best known of the Kremlins and includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation.
The existing Kremlin walls and towers were built by Italian masters over the years 1485 to 1495. The irregular triangle of the Kremlin wall encloses an area of 275,000 square meters. Its overall length is 2,235 meters, but the height ranges from 5 to 19 meters, depending on the terrain. The wall's thickness is between 3.5 and 6.5 meters.
From Bangkok to Moscow takes about nine hours, landing at Domodedovo airport from downtown Moscow, about 40 km.

Moscow is the capital and most populous city of Russia. The city is a major political, economic, cultural and scientific center of Russia and the continent. Moscow is the most northern megacity on Earth, the second largest city in Europe, after Istanbul, and the sixth most populous city in the world. Its population, according to the 2010 Census, is 11,503,501 inhabitants. Moscow is located on the banks of the Moskva River in the Central Federal District of European Russia.
The city is served by an extensive transportation network that includes four international airports, nine railroad stations and one of the deepest subway systems in the world, the Moscow Metro, only overcame by Tokyo in terms of number of passengers.
Moscow is home to the Moscow Kremlin, an ancient fortress that today is the residence of the Russian President and the executive branch of the Government of Russia. The Kremlin is also one of the several sites that are World Heritage Sites in the city.
In Moscow multitude of architectural styles live together, from Baroque and Renaissance buildings to modern architecture. The Moscow Kremlin is among the most famous places. Next to the Kremlin is Red Square, with the famous St. Basil's Cathedral, completed in 1561 and known worldwide for its colorful domes. In the square, there is also the National History Museum, the Lenin's Mausoleum and the GUM, one of the largest malls in the world.
