0:58 Elafonisi Island is located 76 km south-west of Chania city, Crete, Greece. You can reach it by a regular bus from Chania, by car, or by purchasing a tour. In any case, you need to go on the federal highway in the direction of Kissamos.

The Cretan Wedding Revival is the biggest annual event that takes place in Kissamos , Crete, Greece every Summer in August. The 44th Cretan Wedding Revival 2018 took place on 20th August 2018. All the city, visitors & tourists participate in a great feast that begins from the groom's & the bride's houses, then the couple, accompanied by a big parade, tours the city where it ends up at Tzanakaki Square outside the Archaelogical Museum of Kissamos. Cretan Wedding Revival procedure, traditional cretan music, songs, and dances take place in the very centre of the city of Kissamos. The great feast continues in the taverns and cafes of the city where local traditional bands perform till the next morning.
