Dundee is a village in Monroe County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,957 at the 2010 census. The village and the surrounding Dundee Township are served by Dundee Community Schools. Dundee is part of the Monroe metropolitan area. Settled in as early as 1823, the Dundee Historic District offers a collection of shops and restaurants along the River Raisin. Dundee is nicknamed the Hub of the Highway due to the intersection of major historic thoroughfares at the village's center.

The Maumee River is a river running from northeastern Indiana into northwestern Ohio and Lake Erie in the United States. It is formed at the confluence of the St. Joseph and St. Marys rivers, where Fort Wayne, Indiana, has developed, and meanders northeastwardly for 137 miles through an agricultural region of glacial moraines before flowing into the Maumee Bay of Lake Erie. The city of Toledo is located at the mouth of the Maumee. The Maumee was designated an Ohio State Scenic River on July 18, 1974. The Maumee watershed is Ohio’s breadbasket; it is two-thirds farmland, mostly corn and soybeans. It is the largest watershed of any of the rivers feeding the Great Lakes, and supplies five percent of Lake Erie’s water.

Fort Erie, Ontario: Downtown Driving Tour (February, 2019)

Our driving tour video starts across from Old Fort Erie on Lakeshore Road in Fort Erie, Ontario. The initial scene shows the Buffalo, New York skyline across the waters of Lake Erie. We had just finished up photographing a sunrise that fizzled out.

The drive takes us east on Lakeshore / Dominion Road, past the Mather Arch and under the Peace Bridge. The bridge spans the Niagara River, serving as a border crossing between Canada and the United States.

We turn around after passing through the old downtown of Fort Erie and head west again. After passing under the Peace Bridge and again passing the Mather Arch, we exit town via Garrison Road / Highway 3.

Port Douglas is a town in Far North Queensland, Australia, approximately 70 km (40 mi) north of Cairns. Its permanent population was 3,205 at the time of the 2011 census. The town's population can often double, however, with the influx of tourists during the peak tourism season May–September. The town is named in honour of former Premier of Queensland, John Douglas.

In November 1996 United States President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton chose the town as their only holiday stop on their historic visit to Australia. When dining at a local restaurant they witnessed a couple's wedding certificate. On a return visit on 11 September 2001, the then ex-President was again dining at the Salsa Bar and Grill, a local restaurant, when he was advised of the 11 September attacks. He returned to the United States the following day.

On 5 July 1943, a RAAF Vultee Vengeance (Serial Number A27-217) crash landed on the beach near Port Douglas.

Port Douglas was No. 3 on Australian Traveller magazine's list of 100 Best Towns In Australia. 2013.
