More and more Asian carriers send A350 to San Francisco International Airport (SFO). These three had a party on the tarmac near Terminal A in the afternoon.

China 2015 (Part 2) - A Bazaar, and Instagram Queen and Decent Noodles

I spent a month travelling around China like a big mad bastard in July, and here's some of the video I took along the journey. The second stop on my tour took me to Xinjiang, where I used to live. I dicked around in Urumqi to look at a bazaar and fannied around in the mountains just outside Fukang. To round things off, I watched my favourite noodle guy stretch some noodles by hand. I forgot to actually take my camera out and around my old city, which I kind of feel bad about, but the stuff here is still pretty cool to watch!

I was able to capture such an astonishing view of Taipei City through the window. I flew the ERJ-190 from Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) to Kinmen (KNH). The flight is operated by Mandarin Airlines, a subsidiary of China Airlines.

Silk Road - Heavenly Lake.mpg

Tianchi or Heavenly Lake is located in the Fukang County in the Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture. The water is from the melted snow in the nearby mountains. The lake is 1900m above sea-level and in some parts can be 90m deep. The size of the lake is about 5 square kilometres, This area is used as a location shoot by Joan Chen in her award-winning film, Xiu Xiu or Heavenly Bath.

Tianjin Museum, Tianjin Nankai High School and Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium are within a 20 minute drive from the Home Inn Tianjin Huayuan Fukang Xilu.

Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) is a 50 minute drive from the hotel. The centre of Tianjin is 20 minutes away by car. Tianjin Water Park, Tianjin University of Technology and Nankai University are a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
