Gennes-Val-de-Loire is a commune in the Maine-et-Loire department of western France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by merger the former communes of Gennes, Chênehutte-Trèves-Cunault, Grézillé, Saint-Georges-des-Sept-Voies and Le Thoureil. On 1 January 2018, the former communes of Les Rosiers-sur-Loire and Saint-Martin-de-la-Place were merged into it.

Set on an island in the middle of the Indre river, this picturesque château has become one of the most popular of the châteaux of the Loire valley.
