Top 10 Cheapest States To Live In The United States In 2019
Which states are currently the most affordable ?
Housing is by far the largest slice of the average American budget, representing one-third of typical household spending.
Because of this, the best way to cut your costs is to reduce how much you spend to keep a roof over your head.
One obvious way to cut costs on housing is to choose a cheaper home or apartment.
This may be a perfect time to relocate considering home prices and interest rates are back on the rise.
Low costs attract domestic migrants and can give companies an edge when it comes to attracting workers.
Here are the 10 cheapest states to live in the United States in 2019.
1. Mississippi.
2. Arkansas.
3. West Virginia.
4. Tennessee.
5. South Dakota.
6. Alabama.
7. Kentucky.
8. Ohio.
9. South Carolina.
10. Indiana.
My biggest suggestion is to visit these states. Come spend a week to decide where you want to move to.

The United States is one of the most powerful countries in the world in terms of politics, economics and trade.
The cost of living in many cities within the country is relatively low and the majority of people who are based there find that they have a very comfortable standard of life.
The US Dollar remains one of the strongest and most influential currencies in the world and it is this that has helped the country out of past economic slumps.
The sheer size of the USA in comparison to its population means that there is an abundance of land.
Many people make use of this by constructing their own houses outside the city.
What’s the best place to live in your state? It should be someplace that pairs strong economic and educational performance with affordability, and then ticks other boxes as well: convenience, safety, a pleasant way of life.
It may be the fact that it's easy to get around, there are plenty of job opportunities or that it attracts new residents every year.
To determine the Best Places to Live rankings, U.S. News looks at data on the country's 125 largest metro areas, including the cost of living, job market, crime rates, quality of education and more. Fun Free Things To Do In Little Rock Arkansas
Fun Things To Do In Little Rock Arkansas
I know when you think of cool places to visit Little Rock may not be the first place that comes to mind but honestly if you live anywhere in the area or are an outdoor enthusiast it should be.
Little Rock, Arkansas sits on the banks of the Arkansas River located in the center of the state. And with a population of nearly 200,000 people, it's the largest city in Arkansas and definitely the place to find a good time at a great value.
Go actually find the “Little rock” little rock is named after. This can be found in La Petite Roche Plaza in Riverfront Park on the Arkansas River. Such a great place for kids to explore with a park that incorporates its surroundings into the playground and sights that will put a smile on everyone's face. (Free)
The arts flourish in Little Rock, Arkansas with the gallery at the Arkansas Arts Center, offering free admission and housing one of the most-acclaimed collections of works on paper in the country. (Free)
The Big Dam Bridge spans the Arkansas River and Murray Lock and Dam between Little Rock and North Little Rock and is open only to pedestrian and bicycle traffic, which is awesome if you love getting away from traffic like we do.. At 4,226 feet in length it is the longest pedestrian/bicycle bridge in North America that has never been used by trains or motor vehicles. (Free)
MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. Located in the historic Tower Building of the Little Rock Arsenal--the birthplace of General Douglas MacArthur--the museum preserves the contributions of Arkansas men and women who served in the armed forces. Exhibits feature artifacts, photographs, weapons, documents, uniforms and other military items that vividly portray Arkansas's military history at home and abroad. (Free)
Museum of Discovery, not free, Adults $10, children $8. The museum has many fun, hands-on exhibits with a focus on STEM learning. They have the one of the world's largest bi-polar Tesla coils, a tornado ally experience and hands-on looks at geology, anatomy, and math. It's a great museum for kids and adults. We had one extremely rainy day in Little Rock so we were very grateful for the museum of discovery at that time.
Pinnacle Mountain is also supposed to be an pretty neat experience but on our personal trip we opted for the Big Dam Bridge instead due to wanting to drive less and children’s nap times.
Thank you so much for watching. Make sure to subscribe. I hope you enjoyed our adventure. Now go out there and make your own!

Life can be hell for the indecisive among us.
We're bombarded with perplexing choices every day: Cash or credit? Buy or rent?
And then there's the decision that many Americans might just agonize over the most: city or suburb?
How important is your location to you? When searching for a place to live,
generally each person (or family) has something at the very top of their priorities list,
which is the single most important factor for them in choosing a home. For many people, this factor is location.
We all know the seductive advantages of big-city living.
But there are plenty of charms found in small-town America, too—towns where you chat with your neighbors at the grocery store,
local kids ride bikes in packs across tree-lined streets, and moms hang shirts to dry on the backyard clotheslines.
Sure, small towns lack the nonstop excitement and endless opportunities of urban living. But these places are a heck of a lot cheaper.
And many have great schools, charming historic homes, and a great sense of community.
The realtor.com data team set out to find the best small towns in America where you can find affordable and often beautiful housing, safe communities—and, just as important for former city dwellers, plenty of things to do.
Here are Top 10 Affordable Small Towns Where You'd Actually Want to Live In America for 2018:
1. Logansport, Indiana. (Median home price: $62,700 | Population: 37,946 | Unemployment rate: 4.7%)
2. Mexico, Missouri. (Median home price: $69,600 | Population: 26,021 | Unemployment rate: 4.2%)
3. Guymon, Oklahoma. (Median home price: $76,000 | Population: 21,098 | Unemployment rate: 3.5%)
4. Defiance, OH (Median home price: $86,500 | Population: 38,158 | Unemployment rate: 4.8%)
5. Albert Lea, MN (Median home price: $99,200 | Population: 30,446 | Unemployment rate: 3.9%)
6. Emporia, KS (Median home price: $99,800 | Population: 33,510 | Unemployment rate: 4.2%)

Smallest National Park in the United States: Hot Springs
Smallest National Park in the United States: Hot Springs - Not to be confused with national historical landmarks, national lakeshores, or national monuments, etc. Out of the Big 59, Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas is the smallest national park. It is only 6000 acres with 27 miles of hiking trails.
As shown in the video, all trails are color coded. Most trails are short but one can combine them to make a longer route. In this video we did the Goat Rock Trail, Dead Chief Trail and Gulpha Gorge Trail.
We chose this route because we forgot our lunch in the trailer and the Gulpha Gorge Trail takes us back to our campground. However, we had to cross a river to get back.
