Jalasjärvi is a former municipality of Finland. It was merged to the town of Kurikka on 1 January 2016. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southern Ostrobothnia region. The population of Jalasjärvi was 7,834 and covered a land area of 818.70 km2 . The population density was 9.5688/km2 . The municipality was unilingually Finnish.

The Devil's Nest is an eroded cavity located in the village Ylivalli in the municipality Jalasjärvi in Southern Ostrobothnia, Finland. It is 14 meters wide and 23 meters deep, and the deepest earth erosion in Europe.

Ähtäri is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located in the Southern Ostrobothnia region. The town has a population of 5,788 and covers an area of 910.87 square kilometres of which 105 km2 is water. The population density is 7.19 inhabitants per square kilometre . The municipality is unilingual Finnish. Ähtäri is known for its zoo and hotel Mesikämmen designed by Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen which is partly built within bedrock. The biggest lake in the area is Ähtärinjärvi. There is also a relatively old and small board mill called Vääräkosken Pahvi in Ähtäri. The largest private sector employers are Inhan Tehtaat, Silver-Veneet, Tankki, and Muovilami.

Seinäjoki is a city located in South Ostrobothnia, Finland. Seinäjoki originated around the Östermyra bruk iron and gunpowder factories founded in 1798. Seinäjoki became a municipality in 1868, market town in 1931 and town in 1960. In 2005, the municipality of Peräseinäjoki was merged into Seinäjoki, and in the beginning of 2009, the neighbouring municipalities of Nurmo and Ylistaro were consolidated with Seinäjoki. The Town library, Lakeuden Risti Church and central administrative buildings are designed by Alvar Aalto. The asteroid 1521 Seinäjoki bears the town's name. Hailuoto, Finland; August 2011

We went to Finland last summer, and we truly loved it.
We first arrived to Helsinki then we moved up north with our cars. The landscapes were just amazing and the sun didnt seem like setting.
I must admit that the nicest place was Oulu and the island called Hailuoto, which floats on the Gulf of Bothnia, in front of Oulu itself.
I took some beautiful photos I wanted to share with you all who love travelling. I truly recommend everyone who enjoy travelling to visit such a handsome Country.

The music you hear were composed by Coldplay; The first one's called Parachute and the latter is Postcard from far away. They seem to me to describe best the feelings and emotions we had. :)

ENG: This movie shows the first and the most interresting stage of my return journey from Finland to Poland - a travel in winter scenery from Oulu to Helsinki by the Inter City train. The route led through the cities of Kokkola, Seinäjoki and Tampere.
