Indonesia Raih Reisgraag Award sebagai the Best Destination pada Vakantiebeurs 2019
Mengawali tahun 2019, Indonesia menerima penghargaan Reisgraag Award sebagai the Best Destination yang merupakan penghargaan pertama yang diterima Indonesia sejak pertama kali diluncurkannya penghargaan tersebut pada tahun 2011.
Penghargaan tersebut diserahkan secara resmi pada Networking and Gathering Event Indonesia di hari pertama penyelenggaraan Pameran Pariwisata Vakantiebeurs 2019 di Utrecht, Belanda.
Pameran Vakantiebeurs 2019 merupakan pameran pariwisata terbesar di wilayah Benelux, yang dikunjungi oleh calon-calon wisatawan yang datang bukan hanya dari negara-negara Benelux, namun juga dari negara-negara Eropa lainnya yang ingin menghabiskan waktu liburan mereka sepanjang tahun 2019 dengan mengunjungi destinasi-destinasi wisata unik di berbagai belahan dunia. Melalui Vakantiebeurs 2019, para pengunjung dapat memperoleh informasi terbaru mengenai travel trends, destinasi-destinasi liburan terbaru, dan juga tips-tips saat mengunjungi destinasi favorit mereka. Selain dihadiri ratusan ribu pengunjung, Vakantiebuers 2019 juga diliput oleh sekitar 100 media dari berbagai negara dan travel bloggers.
Pada pameran yang berlangsung tanggal 9-13 Januari 2019 di Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, kali ini, Kementerian Pariwisata RI menggandeng 21 industri pariwisata yang terdiri dari 11 travel agent/tour operator, 10 hotel/akomodasi, 2 organisasi kepariwisataan dan Garuda Indonesia. Di Paviliun Wonderful Indonesia, pengunjung tidak hanya akan mendapatkan informasi seputar destinasi-destinasi wisata unik dan menarik di Indonesia, namun juga bisa menikmati beragam aktivitas, menampilkan termasuk cultural performance untuk memberikan sajian tentang kekayaan budaya Indonesia dalam pertunjukan tarian, karnaval, musik, dan juga body painting dengan menggunakan henna serta pemutaran film di information screen yang mengajak pengunjung untuk explore further, sebuah ajakan untuk mengeksplorasi keindahan alam, kesenian dan kerajinan yang unik, musik yang khas, kekayaan gastronomi, dan destinasi wisata di Indonesia.
Tak lupa Paviliun Indonesia juga menyajikan hospitality corner yang merupakan representasi keramahan masyarakat Indonesia dengan sajian makanan khas, kopi, dan minuman tradisional lainnya yang dibagikan cuma-cuma sebagai mini experience yang kental suasana Indonesia
Paviliun Wonderful Indonesia dibuka dengan menyelenggarakan kegiatan Networking and Gathering oleh Duta Besar RI untuk Kerajaan Belanda, I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja didampingi oleh Asisten Deputi Pengembangan Pemasaran II Regional IV/Eropa Kementerian Pariwisata RI, Agustini Rahayu. Pada Networking and Gathering tersebut, hadir lebih dari 50 partner Wonderful Indonesia di wilayah Benelux yang terdiri dari berbagai agen perjalanan, operator perjalanan yang selalu mempromosikan berbagai destinasi wisata di Indonesia, serta co-exhibitor yang tergabung dalam paviliun Indonesia.

Shima Steak (西洋料理 島) is a well, one of the must-eat wagyu beef steak restaurants in Tokyo, and it was an honor to be able to have a chance to eat there for lunch one day on this Tokyo food tour. You could either order the sirloin or the fillet, and I decided to go for the sirloin, because it’s known to be a little fatter and juicier.
The chef at Shima Steak (西洋料理 島) has developed his own unique grill for steak, where it’s a wood fire oven, but it grills and bakes at the same time. He cuts hugely thick slices of wagyu beef steak and then skewers them to cook in the oven grill.
It was one of the most tender, juicy, and insanely flavorful steaks I’ve ever had. And not only the food, but I really enjoyed the friendliness of the restaurant, the chef and his wife, and how it really felt like you were going over to your relatives or grandparents house to eat a top of the line Japanese beef wagyu steak.

For dessert, one of the things you can’t miss when you eat at Shima Steak is their world famous steak sandwich. You have to watch the full video to see how it’s made, but all I can say is that it will amaze you how much beef they stack into the sandwich and how they pack it into a to go box bento style. It’s mind blowing, and insanely delicious!
Price - about 12,000 JPY ($106.94) per steak
