Just some clips from our everyday life in Osaka ~ Rain, doing laundry on the balcony, having a bbq, eating kaiten sushi, and going to karaoke in Kyobashi.

One thing about Japan, it rains a lot. And when it rains, it pours. But mostly we’ve only been experiencing good weather. And we took advantage of that and had a small bbq at a friends’ place in Kadoma.

Then we went exploring around Kadoma, and we took a walk from Kadoma minami station and walked to Owada station. It was so peaceful and quiet around there.

Then we headed back to Kyobashi station to have some kaiten sushi and karaoke. I honestly can’t remember what kaiten sushi we went to but there are so many around Kyobashi station. I think it was close to the JR station but I’m not sure.

Jankara Karaoke (ジャンカラ・カラオケ)
There are lots of karaoke places in Kyobashi. We headed to one of the Jankara (ジャンカラ) because I think it’s one of the cheaper karaoke chains. There are a couple in Kyobashi and you can find them easily with their store locator on their website:


And of course we chose the alternative with nomihoudai 飲み放題 (all you can drink) ~ I think we each payed about ￥3000+ or something for about 3 hours of karaoke + nomihoudai.

The Best Western Joytel Osaka, an accommodation in Osaka, is located near the city center, but southwest of the main district. The Best Western Joytel Osaka is located at 1-3-1 Shinkitashima in Osaka, Japan. About 15 minutes away is the subway. There is a bus terminal near the hotel that can take visitors to popular sites such as Universal Studios Japan.
