TRIP TO KARIMUNJAWA ISLAND FROM KARTINI HARBOR IN JEPARA
Hey guys! In this video we begin the trip to Karimunjawa island from Jepara! We drove to the Kartini Harbor from Jogja, then took a boat to Karimunjawa. Once on the island we went to Jiwaquest Breve Azurine Resort, where we'll be staying for a few days.

Karimunjawa adalah kepulauan di Laut Jawa yang termasuk dalam Kabupaten Jepara, Jawa Tengah. Dengan luas daratan ±1.500 hektare dan perairan ±110.000 hektare, Karimunjawa kini dikembangkan menjadi pesona wisata Taman Laut yang mulai banyak digemari wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara.
Berdasarkan legenda yang beredar di kepulauan, Pulau Karimunjawa ditemukan oleh Sunan Muria. Legenda itu berkisah tentang Sunan Muria yang prihatin atas kenakalan putranya, Amir Hasan. Dengan maksud mendidik, Sunan Muria kemudian memerintahkan putranya untuk pergi ke sebuah pulau yang nampak kremun-kremun (kabur) dari puncak Gunung Muria agar si anak dapat memperdalam dan mengembangkan ilmu agamanya. Karena tampak kremun-kremun maka dinamakanlah pulau tersebut Pulau Karimun.

Karimunjava or Karimun Java is an archipelago of 27 islands in the Java Sea, Indonesia, approximately 80 kilometres northwest of Jepara.[1] The islands' name means 'a stone's throw from Java' in Javanese.[citation needed] They have a total land area of 78 km2. The main island is known as Karimun (2,700 ha), while the second-largest island is Kemujan (1,400 ha).[1]
In 2011, the population of the island group was about 9,000 who lived on five of the islands. The population is largely Javanese, with pockets of Bugis and Madurese inhabitants. Javanese culture is dominant in the islands which are the only islands off Java where Javanese is the lingua franca

Karimun Jawa | BEST DESTINATION of INDONESIA.
We, 11 of us went to this island called Karimun Jawa, it's located across Jepara, Central Java. It was so called paradise. It felt like the island was made for us to just enjoy and appreciate the life GOD has given us. We didn't only stay on this island, we get to small islands around the Karimun Jawa too, It was really really awesome. I thank GOD for letting me to travel to these places. Have an awesome life guys!

The Riau Islands (Indonesian: Kepulauan Riau) is a province of Indonesia. It comprises a total of 1,796 islands lying between the Malacca Strait, the Karimata Strait and the South China Sea. The province is located on one of the world's busiest shipping lanes, sharing water borders with Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Originally part of the province of Riau, the Riau Islands became Indonesia's third-youngest province in September 2002. The capital is Tanjung Pinang and the largest city is Batam.
The native inhabitant of the Riau Islands, called Orang Laut, formed the backbone of most Malay kingdoms from Srivijaya to the Johor Sultanate for the control of trade routes going through the Malacca Strait. After the fall of Malacca in 1511, the Riau islands became the centre of political power of the mighty Sultanate of Johor-Riau, based on Bintan Island, and were for long considered the centre of Malay culture.
