STREET VIEW: Altstadt von Aarau in SWITZERLAND
In der oberen Schanz in Aarau an der Schönenwerderstraße haben wir den letzten freien Parkplatz ergattert. Wir starten in der Schönenwerderstraße vor der Glockengiesserei Rüetschi. Von dort gehen wir über den Rain in die Altstadt. Durch die Rathausgasse gehen wir zur Kirchgasse hinüber. Dort können wir in das Aaretal hinunterschauen. Anschließend geht es am Rathaus vorbei bis zum Zollrain. Von dort geht es über die Metzgergasse zurück in die Rathausgasse und dann über die Pelzgasse in die Laurenzengasse. Dann geht es am Graben am Flohmarkt vorbei und anschließend hinunter bis zum Kongresshaus in Aarau. Alles in allem eine wunderschöne Stadt bei schönstem Wetter.

Travelogue #4: Gurten Park Bern, Switzerland
Gurten Park
Der Gurten ist der Berner Hausberg. Mit der Bahn oder zu Fuss geht es auf rund 860 Meter über Meer. Dort wartet eine wunderbare Aussicht über die gesamte Stadt Bern. Noch mehr Weitblick gibt es auf dem Aussichtsturm.
Doch es gibt noch viel mehr zu erleben. Der Gurten ist unter anderem ein Kinderparadies. Auf dem Spielplatz und der Miniatur-Eisenbahn können sich die Kleinen austoben. Action auch für grössere Besucher bietet die 2016 eröffnete Rodelbahn.
Auch die Kulinarik kommt nicht zu kurz. Zur Auswahl stehen zwei Restaurants: das Selbstwahlrestaurant “Tapis Rouge” und das À-la-carte-Restaurant “Gurtners”. Wer sein Essen lieber selbst zubereitet, kann dies an einem der Grillplätze tun.
