2. The Kelpies & The Helix Falkirk
The Kelpies are 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures featuring kelpies, standing next to a new extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal, and near River Carron, in The Helix, a new parkland project built to connect 16 communities in the Falkirk Council Area, Scotland. The sculptures were designed by sculptor Andy Scott and were completed in October 2013. The sculptures form a gateway at the eastern entrance to the Forth and Clyde canal, and the new canal extension built as part of The Helix land transformation project. The Kelpies are a monument to horse powered heritage across Scotland.The sculptures were opened to the public in October 2013 . I was hoping to share the installation of the air conditioning from Truma in this video, but as you ill find out - nothing is straight forward.
So we discuss the limitations of my Bailey Ridgeway caravan, the various options available to me and what we will do next.

A huge thank you to the team at Truma who bought along the Truma Aventa comfort Air conditioning unit and the Truma Saphir Comport and were as disappointed as me that the installation couldn't take place, and allowing me to ask few questions on camera.

Tour Scotland wee video of old photographs of Auchtermuchty, Scottish Gaelic: Uachdar Mucadaidh, meaning upland of the pigs a town in Fife. Until 1975 Auchtermuchty was a royal burgh, established under charter of King James V in 1517. There is evidence of human habitation in the area dating back over 2,000 years, and the Romans are known to have established a camp in the south east corner of the town. In the past, the linen industry was a major source of work in the town, but in the early 18th century the firm of John White was established, bringing the town its first foundry, there were two eventually. There was even a whisky distillery in operation from 1829 to 1929, when Prohibition in the U.S.A. led to its closure. The town was used as the location for Tannochbrae in the 1990s ITV series Dr. Finlay. Craig Reid and Charles Reid were born in Leith on 5 March 1962, and grew up in Edinburgh, Cornwall and Auchtermuchty. When they lived in Auchtermuchty they attended Bell Baxter High School. After several punk rock bands at school they formed the Proclaimers in 1983
