Suite à un séjour de prospection en Macédoine, nous avons constaté un manque important de connaissances sur la biodiversité de cette région. Nous souhaiterions donc organiser une expédition naturaliste avec une équipe de bénévoles passionnés afin de mettre en place des suivis et inventaires de la faune locale en partenariat avec les associations du pays.

Prehistoric Settlement Bay of Bones - Macedonia

Bay of Bones is one of the most fascinating archaeological sites Steve and I have ever visited. A small section of a prehistoric settlement dating back to between 1200-700 BC has been restored IN Lake Ohrid.

Wooden houses on piles above the level of water were reconstructed in 2008 and visitors pay a small entrance fee (100 Denar/$2.20 US) which also includes a small museum that has stone tools, ceramics and other ancient objects.

Kriva reka, Macedonia

The Kriva Reka ( meaning curved river), is a 75 km long river in northeastern Macedonia, and the biggest left tributary of the Pcinja River.The river rises at the northeastern slopes of Osogovo Mountain below the peak Carev vrh (2085 m.), at an altitude of 1932 m. This footage is taken near tourist attraction called Stone dolls ( Kameni kukli ).
