नागौर शब्द की उत्पत्ति नाग दुर्ग से हुई है चौथी शताब्दी के आसपास नागाओं ने यहां पर एक किला बनवाया था जो कच्ची मिट्टी का बना हुआ था जिसे गांव में घर होते हैं उसी तरह का आगे चलकर धीरे-धीरे समय बीतता गया वैसे वैसे इसके अंदर रख रखाव करके और मेंटेनेंस करके जो पक्का बनवा दिया गया लेकिन नागाओं ने जो किला बनवाया था उसी से नागा दुर्ग नाम पड़ा और नागा दुर्ग से नागौर जगह का नाम पड़ा

उदयपुर के अंदर आज हमारा आखिरी दिन और आज के दिन हम सुबह सुबह जल्दी उठे थे जल्दी उठ कर के हम यहां पर गए गंगा कुंड के अंदर गंगा
कुंड यहां पर बहुत ही सुंदर कुंड बना हुआ है और यहां आस पास से उदयपुर के महाराजाओं की छतरियां बनी हुई है करीब 400 साल पुरानी छतरियां से लेकर आज के समय के महाराजाओं की छतरियां भी बनी हुई है उसके बाद में हम यहां के नजदीक ही एक म्यूजियम को देखने के लिए गये लेकिन वह बंद था तो वह आप अगले वीडियो में देखेंगे और उसके बाद में हम वहां से फतेहसागर झील के किनारे पर बैठ कर के हम ने तरबूज खाया और तरबूज खाने के बाद में उसके आगे प्रताप गौरव केंद्र प्रताप गौरव केंद्र के अंदर बहुत ही बड़ी एक प्रतिमा लगी हुई थी महाराणा प्रताप की और उसी के सामने था प्रताप गौरव म्यूजियम उसके बाद में हम वहां से गए प्रताप स्मारक जिसके ऊपर लिखा था आई लव उदयपुर बहुत ही बड़े बड़े अक्षरों के अंदर ।
उसके बाद में आगे आया जंगल सफारी पारक जंगल सफारी पारक में बहुत ही सुंदर गार्डन बना हुआ है झील के किनारे पर बैठकर के आप यहां पर आनंद ले सकते हैं और उसके बाद में वापस आ गए पिछोला झील यहां पर कुछ रह गया था क्या रह गया था कुछ मन में रह गया था फोटो निकलवाने का और वह फोटो थी इस खूबसूरत ड्रेस के अंदर जो आप इस वीडियो के अंदर देखेंगे राजा महाराजाओं के समय की तरह की यह कपड़े लग रहे हैं जो कि राजस्थानी के यहां पर बहुत ही खूबसूरत पोशाक है राजपूती ड्रेस या राजा महाराजाओं की ड्रेस। ।।।।।।

JODHPUR - World's Most Colourful Cities - Crazy Traffic - Fort
JODHPUR - RAJASTHAN - It may be known as the Blue City meaning a lot of its houses are painted blue. This is especially evident when looking over the city from the massive fort (next blog). While it may be the Blue City we were also struck the the variety of colours evident throughout the city. It is beautiful to perceive and experience even though it is noisy city full of crazy traffic. Added to the cars, motorcycle, bicycles, tuk tuks or auto-rickshaws was a new wrinkle we had not seen anywhere in India - horse carriages. Imagine for a moment how far back in history this mode of transportation has been used and be amazed at how it has survived here in such a splendid fashion right here in Jodhpur. Walking through the streets of Old Jodphur is such a pleasure and eventually you pathway will lead to the massive fort looming over the city. That will be the subject of the next blog.

After Udaipur, Jodhpur was a shock. Old Udaipur was classy and relatively quiet with the lakes all around to calm things down. There was no such cushion in Jodhpur. Right from our moment of arrival this was a noisy hectic, in your face city. We got off to a good start at the Heritage Kuchaman Haveli which is quite impressive. Located int he Old City near a gate it is about a 15-minute walk to the centre of the action. Looking for a place to eat proved to be difficult and as our video show we were thankful to finally find something on the main street after a long walk.
