HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF IN THE PHILIPPINES (2018)
Believe it or not, if you're a tourist in the Philippines, You are a target. today I'm going to give you some tips that you need to utilize when you're in the Philippines to stay safe and secure.
Now when you talk about the Philippines you understand this is a country where tourists come, every day.
Yeah they come everyday and They come to enjoy themselves, have a nice time and sometimes what happens Is that tourists have a tendency to become lapse.
Because it's so nice in the Philippines and they're seeing new sights and sounds they have a tendency to forget security.
Ok? here we go number 1. When you're in the Philippines always keep your eyes and ears open. Always keep abreast of what's going on in your surroundings.
And the reason why is because there a lot of pickpockets in the Philippines in the major cities, even in the smaller province towns there are pickpockets.
Always look out in the front of you when you’re walking, to the side, in the back occasionally. So you can notice who’s around you and what’s going on at all times. Alright.
That protects yourself and keeps you aware and alert to any potential pitfalls that may happen you have your eyes open and your ears alert to any potential pitfalls that may happen.
Alright, Number 2 When you're walking in the Philippines when you are walking about in the malls and city areas, sidewalks and the streets. You want to make sure that If you’re carrying a murse and I carry a murse. Which is a man purse.
Keep your arm on the murse at all times. When you're walking about. The reason being if someone tries to snatch it Your arm around it and it's going to be very difficult for someone to snatch your murse from around your arm.
As you have it attached to your arm in order for them to get your murse, They gotta go through you. Alright?
So if you're walking about and you're carrying a murse like I do, keep your arm around it at all times.
And for those of you are carrying the fanny pack, I don't recommend you carry the fanny pack.
Because someone could easily take a knife or razor and slit the strap and take it off of your waist and they're gone.
You would not even know it half the time. So I recommend when you come to the Philippines keep your wallet in the front pocket.
If you have a wallet don't put it in your back pocket. Never do that. Keep it in your front pocket at all times.
Or carry it in your murse. Ok? When you're coming to the Philippines and You're in a hotel and you're staying there, one of the best things you want to do It to make sure you don't leave anything in a hotel room when you leave out even though many of them have a safe and safe deposit boxes.
Don't leave anything valuable in the room. Because you don't know who's cleaning it and you don’t know who’s coming in that room after you left out. Take your valuables with you.
