TOP 12 ATTRACTIONS IN BOHOL, PHILIPPINES#tagbilaran#adventures#budgetravel
Bohol is known for its natural beauty and is a paradise for divers and snorkelers. This is the land of Chocolate Hills, tarsiers (the world’s smallest primate), heritage sites, and old stone churches.
Here are my Top 12 attractions in Bohol:
Loboc River Cruise is regarded as one of the major tourist destinations for locals and foreigners. Visitors are mesmerized with a vista of lush tropical vegetation, such as nipa palms, coconut trees, banana groves, and bushes.
Chocolate Hills are a group of unusually shaped hills located in Carmen, Bohol in the Philippines. This extraordinary landscape is very unique to this small island.
Bilar Enchanted Garden is the home of the smallest primate - Tarsier. There is a fee of 100 pesos to enter in this place.
Alona Beach is located on Panglao, Bohol. It is situated about 2km from the new Panglao - Bohol International Airport. This is known for its party atmosphere and restaurants.
Virgin Island - You can walk to the end of the sandbar to enjoy its serenity. It will take you less than 3 minutes to walk through it. I recommend to visit this in the morning if you want some alone time.
ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) is one of the most exciting activities to try in Bohol for those who are looking for some adventures.
Baclayon Church is the second oldest church in the Philippines. The church was declared a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines and a National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.
Man-Made Forest is a two-kilometer stretch of densely planted Mahogany trees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns.
Sevilla Hanging Bridge spans around 40 meters and offers a great view of the emerald Sipatan River below.
Balicasag is a marine sanctuary with white sandy beaches and beautiful corals in shallow and deep waters.
Dumaluan Beach is worth your visit if you want some private time for swimming off their white-sand beach.
Blood Compact is considered as the first treaty of friendship between the Spaniards and Filipinos. The Sandugo is depicted in both the provincial flag and the official seal of the government in Bohol.

BOHOL Island Tour, Philippines (Tarsiers, Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruise)
I spend the day touring the natural island of Bohol, Philippines. I visit the Tarsier Sanctuary, the beautiful town of Loboc, getting invited into a local Filipino family's home, taking a river cruise, before finally taking public transportation to reach the Chocolate Hills.

EPIC River Cruise and CUTEST Monkeys in Bohol Island - Philippines Vlog (Episode 4)
On our Bohol tour, after visiting the Chocolate Hills viewpoint, we went to see some of the cutest tarsier monkeys at the Tarsier Sanctuary. We then had some lunch while cruising around Loboc River, one of the most beautiful rivers I've seen so far.

When Is The Best Time To Visit The Philippines
The weather is a very important factor to consider when traveling. Though the Philippines is a tropical country and most of the time it's sunny here, watch when is the best time of the year to visit the Philippines.

Bohol Adventure Challenge - Visit ALL the top tourist spots in 4 DAYS
If you want to visit all the major attractions but only have 4 days, make sure to watch this before traveling to Bohol. In this video we’ll show you the places we visited as well as our itinerary for our trip.

GETTING AROUND:
There are three main ways to get around Bohol: public commute, renting a motorbike, and rent-a-car/island tour. We highly recommend taking island tours.
Public commute is definitely the cheapest option but it will waste your time and the ride might not be as comfortable as you’d want on a vacation.
Renting a motorbike is a good option because it’s flexible but it’s quite tiring if you’re not used to driving around for a long time. Personally we’d rent a motorbike for not more than a day. It’s fun and exciting at first but the fun wears off really fast.
Best option is to take an island tour. It is the most expensive of the three options but it’s hassle free, very comfortable and you have the benefit of having a knowledgeable local guide who’d give you a background of the place you’re visiting.
BOHOL ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Bohol Countryside with Panglao Highlights (bit.ly/boholcountrysidetour)
This one tour covers most of the major attractions in Bohol. You’d get to visit the iconic chocolate hills, observe the Bohol Philippines tarsier monkey at a local sanctuary, taste the delicious bohol bee farm honey, fill yourself up at the Loboc Floating Restaurant buffet and much more.
If you only had one full day in Bohol, this is the tour that you MUST take.
Day 2 - Danao Adventure Park Private Car Charter (bit.ly/danaoadventureparkcharter)
This one isn’t a tour but a van rental going to Danao Adventure Park where you can do “The Plunge” which is the highest canyon drop in Southeast Asia. If you’re not up to that, there are also other activities like zip lining, walking over a glass platform over a ravine, and other fun activities.
Make sure to visit Danao early so you can also view the Sea of Clouds which is a very picturesque scene to behold.
If you finish early, you can head down to Chocolate Hills Adventure Park to ride a buggy (ATV) for some Bohol offroad experience.
Dat 3 - Anda Beach, Cabagnow Cave and Candijay Private Tour in Bohol (bit.ly/candijaytour)
This takes you to a different part of the island where the best beach in Bohol is at, Anda.
Aside from the beach you’ll also be visiting the beautiful Can-umantad falls and the Cadapdapan Rice Terraces.
Another great thing about this trip is the Cabagnow hidden cave pool. This was such a chill trip for us that we’d love to do again.
Also, make sure you buy some delicious calamay on the way.
Day 4 - Bohol Island Hopping (bit.ly/boholislandhopping)
This is a half day tour going to the Balicasag Island from Panglao for some dolphin watching and swimming with sea turtles.
This is a perfect way to end your tour and you can have your ride bring you directly to the airport saving you extra money on commute.
There are other things to do in Panglao Bohol if you have the rest of the day, like visiting the local shops or go diving
