The Best Places to Visit in Montana, USA
The Best Places to Visit in Montana, USA
One of the most northerly of the US states, often referred to as Big Sky Country, Montana is spectacular, with rugged scenery and plentiful wildlife, particularly around the Rocky Mountains in the west. It is also popular for scenic drives and abundant wildlife (the state's very name suggests a strong connection to nature, and is taken from the Spanish for mountain: montaña).
The majestic Rocky Mountains, the wide open prairies, and the clear winding rivers make Montana a vacation wonderland. The state's colorful human and natural history, touching on everything from Lewis and Clark to paleontology to Old West mines, is the subject of many attractions that appeal to visitors from around the world.

Kirkham Hot Springs are pure heaven! Idaho has a lot more than potatoes...
I'm excited to announce that Ali and I are riding across the USA! We're riding Trek's new gravel bikes, the Checkpoint, and the goal is to take the road less traveled in search of great people and inspiring stories. Besides profiling the wonderful people along the way, we'll be asking everyone for LOVE advice. Our route will take us from Oregon to New York and WE WANT YOU to help out. If you have any ideas of places to visit, friends to meet, or burritos to eat, find us on social media and point us in the right direction.

Ride the Hiawatha Trail
Along the Northern Idaho & Montana border is one of the most iconic bike trails in the Pacific Northwest. About two hours East of Coeur d’Alene this stunning mountain pass is 15 miles long with 10 train tunnels and 7 sky-high trestles. Once a prosperous railroad out of Chicago these tracks haven’t seen a train since 1980 and are now enjoyed by thousands of people every summer. Where do you pick up your pass, is there a spot to rent a bike, how hard is the ride? We’re here to help you prepare your adventure on the famous Hiawatha Trail. #EpicIdaho #HiawathaTrail #FamousBikeTrails

Bike Touring Is Good For The Soul!
Bicycle touring has always been a big part of my life. I've seen a lot of the world on two wheels. This is a compilation of some of the most beautiful places that I've toured on a bike. Nepal, Honduras, Mexico, Sweden, USA, and China.

To Love A Place - Idaho's Main Salmon River
Conservation of wild rivers has to start with love. Amy Kober has spent the last 18 years of her career dedicated to saving waterways with American Rivers.
In an effort to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act in 2018, American Rivers is working to protect 5,000 miles of new Wild and Scenic Rivers and one million acres of riverside land protected over the next five years.
In addition to the powerful conservation goal, American Rivers along with NRS, YETI, and O.A.R.S., have launched the 5,000 Miles of Wild campaign: embarking on a mission to tell the stories of America’s rivers and the people who love them—from whitewater boaters and avid anglers, to families and urban dwellers who enjoy backyard escapes.
“By collecting personal stories from people across America, we will show how rivers connect all of us and send one clear and unified message to our elected leaders: our rivers are worth saving,” Amy said. “Our aim is to recruit, engage and empower a lasting army of people speaking up to protect our rivers and clean water.”
