3. Marmore Falls
The Marmore’s falls, or as they’re called Cascata delle Marmore in Italian, are a man – made waterfalls near Terni, the capital of the region of Umbria. The waterfalls are created 2.000 years ago by the ancient Romans and their source is the river Velino. Besides enjoying the view of the Marmore waterfalls, you can explore the area and enjoy the gorgeous nature surrounding you!
4. Monti Sibillini
Monti Sibillini is a national park located in the regions of Umbria and Marche. It was established in 1993 and ever since it represents one of the most beautiful parks in whole Italy. Monti Sibillini represent a mountain chain with wonderful green valleys and plenty of flowers during spring and summer.
5. Lago di Scanno
Lago di Scanno, or lake Scanno in English, is a wonderful lake located in the province of L’Aquila in the region of Abruzzo, Southern Italy. It is also the largest lake in the region with amazing emerald – colored crystal water. Right above the lake is the small town of Scanno, which is a charming place with cobble streets and medieval architecture.
6. Gran Paradiso National Park
This national park got its name after the same called mountain – Gran Paradiso, located in the Graian Alps, between the regions of Piedmont and Aosta Valley. There are mesmerizing woodlands and alpine grassland that will take your breath away, so make sure to include the Gran Paradiso national park on your bucket list.
7. Lake Maggiore
Here’s another lake on the list and this time it is one of the three big prealpine lakes – Lago di Maggiore. It is the second biggest Italian lake and it is located between the regions of Lombardy and Piedmont, as well the Swiss canton of Ticino. The lake, as well as the towns along its coastline are known for their flower gardens, where you can find rare and exotic plants. The climate is mild all year round, which makes this place so dreamy.
8. Val di Funes
The Dolomites are a complete must visit for every tourist, no matter what! We’re talking about a mountain range located in northeastern Italy that since 2009 it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can find small towns and villages in the mountains that will charm you absolutely with their alpine grasslands all around and the tall Dolomites in the background.

They are built on the ruins of the medieval town of Ninfa and are declared as natural monument by the region of Lazio.
10. Costa degli Dei
The southern Tyrrhenian coast has the name Costa degli Dei or Coast of the Gods. The reason why this coastline has such name is simple – there are bays, capes, white sand beaches and crystal clear blue water of the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is really impressive, just take a look at the sunset! The Coast of the Gods is located in the province of Calabria in Southwestern Italy.

Waterfalls marmore Children and the Waterfall Marmore Falls Umbria Italy
Relaxing tour in the area of Marmore. Who loves nature, the Falls is a wonderful place to visit. You can spend a day in the park.
Before reaching the Marmore Falls we advise to inform about the opening of the water and of the area. At the top of the drop, in fact, the waters of the Velino river have been deviated in the penstock to feed the hydroelectric power plants system; in this way the Falls is visible in its maximum flow and in fixed timetable. The timetables (opening of the area and of the water) change in relation to the seasons (more during the summer and less during the winter). The excursion area (routes n.1-2-3-4-5) closes before the Lower and Upper Outlook for safety reason (an half hour before the sunset).
Viewpoint – in the Falls it is possible to go in two different points: the Upper and the Lower Outlook. The first represents the Lower part of the Falls where you can observe all the three drops made by the Velino river that flows into the Nera river; from here you have an entire view of the Falls, formed by a wonderful view and also panoramic of the first drop. The entrance of one of the two viewpoint doesn’t exclude the possibility to visit the other: it exists in fact a route (n.1) that links the lower with the upper outlook and it takes about 40 minutes to go up and 20 to go down. Who wants avoid to walk, can reach the other viewpoint with cars through the state road (it takes about 12 km).
The visiting – the buy of the ticket includes the visiting to the Lower and Upper Outlook, the excursion area that are 5 routes of different difficulty: who enters in the lower part doesn’t buy another ticket for visiting the upper part and vice-versa. With an additional cost, instead of, it is possible to benefit of the additional service offers planned during the week (speleological tours, nighttimes tours, naturalistic tour, the enchanted walk for children, the classical guided tour and the botanical tour etc.). For information about the days when it organizes the visits and for booking, we advise to phone to the ticket-office or to the call center of the cooperative Sistema Museo (referring numbers above). Groups or people in general can request the organization of the guided tours in particular dates, different from the panned ones, but it is necessary the minimum numbers for the inscription.

20 Things to do in Florence, Italy Travel Guide Video Transcript: (FIRENZE)
Florence: when it comes to Renaissance art, there’s probably no better city in the world to soak it all in!
Our time here was spent viewing works by Italian masters both in museums and public spaces, marvelling at the architecture - in particular Florence Cathedral and its massive dome, going in search of the best lookout points, and eating plenty of pizza & gelato sharing the best things to do in Florence on your visit.
We paid 15 Euros for a ticket that gave us access to 5 attractions associated with Florence Cathedral. Giotto’s Campanile, the bell tower stands 84.7 metres with 414 steps.
We made our way over to our next attraction: the Baptistry. Known as both the Florence Baptistry and the Baptistry of Saint John.
We continued to Museo dell’Opera del Duomo, which is a museum dedicated to conserving artworks relating to Florence Cathedral.
It was time to climb the dome of Florence Cathedral. We ate our gelato at Grom and it was delicious.
The Uffizi Gallery is considered one of the best museums in the world focusing on the Italian Renaissance. Most of the art collection you see today was gifted to the city of Florence by Anna Maria Luisa, the last Medici heiress.
From Uffizi Gallery you get some pretty cool views of Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River from a higher vantage point.
We visited in Florence was Piazza della Signoria, an L-shaped square right in the heart of the city. A landmark in this square is Palazzo Vecchio or the Town Hall. And to the right of this building, you have the Loggia dei Lanzi.
Speaking of David, we did find him, over at Galleria dell’Accademia. Michelangelo’s David depicts the Biblical David carved out of a single block of marble.
Ponte Vecchia during the 16th century that one of the Medici ordered for the butcher shops to be replaced with jewellers.
When it comes to sunset in Florence, there are no better views than from Piazzale Michelangelo overlooking the historic center on the other side of the Arno River.
This indoor market is foodie central with the second floor of the market is filled with eateries. Central Market is a great place to pick up ingredients to bring back to your kitchen.
We hope you enjoyed this Florence travel guide and that it gave you ideas of things to do.

Hidden Waterfalls near Venice - Escape the Tourists! // Travel Italy Guide
This national park is the perfect place to get away from all the tourists. Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park is a secluded gem filled with waterfalls and rock pools that apparently only the locals know about. It's only a couple of hours away from Venice so I would HIGHLY recommend ditching the crowded city if you have a car.
We were practically alone for the first half of the day until an Italian family arrived with their dog. Such a cute doggo too!

Путешествие по Италии - что посмотреть за 9 дней | Traveling in Italy - what to see in 9 days
- La Spezia,
- PortoVenere,
- Cinque Terre (Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola и Riomaggiore),
- Portofino,
- Lucca,
- Volterra,
- San Gimignano,
- Montalcino,
- Abbazia di Sant'Antimo,
- Bagni di San Filippo,
- Pienza,
- Chianciano,
- Montepulciano,
- Perugia,
- Assisi,
- Bolsena,
- Civita,
- Orvieto,
- Pitigliano,
- Terme di Saturnia и
- Pisa
