Lake Velence - HUNGARY 4K
Lake Velence is a large body of water in Hungary, southwest of Budapest. It's known for its beaches on the southern shore, especially around Gárdony. The warm lake waters are home to carp, pike and eels. Near the lake’s western shore, the Lake Velence Bird Sanctuary and the Dinnyés Marshes Nature Reserve protect many domestic and migratory birds. These can also be viewed from the István Chernel Birdwatching Tower.

Mátra Mountains - Galyatető - Kékestető - Hungary - 4K
Kékes is Hungary's highest mountain, at 1,015 meters (3,330 ft) above sea level. It lies 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) northeast of Gyöngyös, in the Mátra range of Heves county. It is Hungary's third most popular tourist attraction, after Lake Balaton and the Danube, and has a number of hotels and ski slopes. The Kékestető TV Tower is located at the summit.
Galyatető is the second highest point of the Mátra Mountains at 956 m above sea level, the nearby Grandhotel Galya is the highest-situated hotel in Hungary.

I just finished hiking Hungary's National Blue Trail (Országos Kéktúra) starting 3rd April and finishing 23rd May 2018. Here's my thoughts and advice on a route that despiye being Europe's oldest hiking trail isn't much known of outside of Hungary.
