Best Places to Visit in Curaçao
Best Places to Visit in Curaçao
Curaçao is a Lesser Antilles island in the southern Caribbean Sea and the Dutch Caribbean region, about 65 km (40 mi) north of the Venezuelan coast. It is a constituent country (Dutch: land) of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and a unique Caribbean island paradise. Curaçao's highest point is the Sint Christoffelberg 372 m (1,220 ft).
The coastlines bays, inlets and hot springs offer an on-site source of natural mineral, thermal, or seawater used in hydrotherapy and mesotherapy, making this island one of many balneoclimateric areas in the region. While tourism plays a major role in Curaçao's economy, it is less reliant on tourism than other Caribbean countries. Most tourists originate from the Netherlands, Eastern United States, South America and other Caribbean Islands . It is a leader in the Caribbean in cruise tourism .
Ringed by picture-perfect beaches and craggy headlands clad in the occasional bloom of palms and sea grasses, spiny cacti and divi-divi groves, the terrain isn’t your usual soft sands and jungle.
There IS really plenty to see on the sun-kissed Curaçao! Check it out…

Are you considering a move to a new Canadian city to make a better life?
If you are still considering where to move, you’d want to know that Alberta is the top moving destination in 2017.
Alberta is a province in Western Canada. Its landscape encompasses mountains, prairies, desert badlands and vast coniferous forests.
It is Canada's fourth most populous province and the most populous of Canada's three prairie provinces.
It has more than 600 lakes, and rich mineral deposits. In the west, the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks have glaciers in the Columbia Icefields.
The Waterton Glacier International Peace Park is a biosphere reserve that straddles the southern border with the USA.
You can find several smaller towns and cities that are perfect for raising a family, finding a good job, or simply enjoying a quiet retirement.
Over the last five years the province of Alberta has seen it’s population skyrocket due to people coming to the province to find work.
The oil sands in Fort McMurray have been a popular landing spot for those making the move to the province,
but it isn’t the greatest place for you to be situated if you’re going to be in Alberta with your family. Fort Mac is one of the more pricier cities in Alberta.
Despite lower oil prices, Alberta’s economy has remained steady. That’s not to say things are perfect; unemployment has gone up slightly in 2016.
But all things considered, there are still many great reasons to move to Alberta.
With its scenic beauty, no provincial tax, and higher average wages anywhere in the country, Alberta offers a high quality of life that’s hard to find elsewhere.
We’ve taken a look at some statistics and compiled a list of the Best Cities to Live in Alberta.
Here are the 10 best places to live in Alberta, Canada for 2018:
1. St. Albert.
2. Edmonton.
3. Calgary.
4. Strathcona County.
5. Canmore.
6. Medicine Hat.

Crystal Hunting in the North Pennines (Summer 2017)
School Summer Holidays 2017
Please consider supporting me by buying me a coffee:
After I found a nice quartz cluster when hiking up Cross Fell, my daughter was eager to go looking for crystals. So I gave her some choices for the summer break and she chose to go crystal hunting.
Our first visit was Groverake Mine and Frazer's Hush as these used to mine for fluorite. We picked up a couple of small samples but the place had clearly been looked at by other people. We found a place where they had covered up a site where they had been digging into one of the smaller hushes for better commercial value crystals and a quick look on ebay suggests they were professional hunters.
Our next outing we headed up to the fluorite mine at Middlehope. If you visit this area you need to be careful because the lead mines further down stream are protected sites. But the fluorite mine is not but it is still private land and taking rock samples without permission is technically illegal. So use your commonsense if you are out.
I am not a geologist but I've been learning quite a bit on our outings as we try to identify our findings. The two samples I mention about finding near Nenthead were not from the Nenthead site. Do not take stuff from there. I found what I think is Dolomite in a stream on the other side of Flinty fell. The piece that I am hoping is Alstonite but probably quartz, I literally picked up from the side of the road when I stopped to do the timelapse in my last mines video. All the rest are from various streams in the North Pennines... we were out just about every week, sometimes a couple of times a week. We bumped into a few professional hunters collecting crystals for jewellery or to tumble and sell on ebay. Also a couple of amateur geologists and rockhounds.
Once you get into the habit of checking the geology where you are walking, you find stuff like the Cheviot agates which, we picked up on our last two hikes in the Cheviot hills. There were many and the two that we picked up were of no value. Even the nice quartz cluster I picked up is of no monetary value because it has substantial damage on the top.
All in all it was great fun. We both learned a lot about geology and it was a good bonding experience with my daughter.
Our minerals:
Quartz, Fluorite (Fluorspar), Sphalerite (Zinc ore)?, Calcite, Dolomite?, Agate, Ironstone (Iron ore), Galena (Lead/Silver ore).

Places to see in ( St Agnes - UK )
Places to see in ( St Agnes - UK )
St Agnes is a civil parish and a large village on the north coast of Cornwall, United Kingdom. The village of St Agnes is about five miles north of Redruth and ten miles southwest of Newquay. An electoral ward exists stretching as far south as Blackwater.
The village of St Agnes, a popular coastal tourist spot, lies on a main road between Redruth and Perranporth. It was a prehistoric and modern centre for mining of copper, tin and arsenic until the 1920s. Local industry has also included farming and fishing, and more recently tourism.
The St Agnes district has a heritage of industrial archaeology and much of the landscape is of considerable geological interest. There are also stone-age remains in the parish. The manor of Tywarnhaile was one of the 17 Antiqua maneria of the Duchy of Cornwall.
To the northwest foot of the St Agnes Beacon is Cameron Quarry and St Agnes Beacon Pits, Sites of Special Scientific Interest noted for their geological interest. Trevaunance Cove is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Geological Conservation Review site of national importance for the ?... the two principal ore-bearing mineral veins associated with the Hercynian St. Agnes-Cligga granite?.
The Church of St Agnes is believed to have been built as a chapel of ease about 1482, on the foundation of what is possibly an ancient Celtic church (410 to 1066 AD). The records of the Diocese of Exeter refer to a chapel of St Agnes in the parish of Perranzabuloe in 1374.
The St Agnes Parish Museum provides information about the history of the St Agnes area. Historically, St Agnes and the surrounding area relied on fishing, farming and mining for copper and tin. Since the 17th century there have been many attempts to create a harbour for St Agnes. Between 1632 and 1709 the Tonkins, lords of the manor of Trevaunance, expended the family legacy as they tried to build a harbour.
St Agnes is a popular tourist destination. The coastal area is maintained by the National Trust and is designated part of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Beaches in the St Agnes Parish include Trevaunance Cove, near the village of St Agnes. It's a small sandy beach with lifeguards and adequate parking. Porthtowan village also has a sandy beach. Trevellas Porth is popular with divers and fishermen, but because it is quite rocky it is not recommended for swimming. Chapel Porth is another area beach.
( St Agnes- UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of St Agnes . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in St Agnes - UK
