Japan Travel: Toei Uzumasa Eigamura theme park & film location, Kyoto061 Moopon
The Toei Uzumasa Eigamura, also known as Kyoto Studio Park or Movie Land, serves a film set and theme park in one. Essentially a small town from the Edo Period, the park showcases a collection of various traditional buildings which are often used as a backdrop when filming historical movies and television dramas.
The park contains entire streets depicting town scenes, such as a replica of the old Nihonbashi Bridge, a traditional court house, a Meiji Period police box as well as part of the former Yoshiwara red light district. Park attendants being dressed in historic costumes play an important part in making the town more atomospheric. Actual filming sometimes takes place in various parts of the park, and visitors are welcome to observe the action.

Travel Back In Time At Date Jidaimura Edo Theme Park!
This place is definitely the highlight of my trip! Such an amazing park, this is my first time coming to this kind of theme park, so fun! It really feels like you're in a movie set XD
From Sapporo station I too the train to Noboribetsu Station, then took a taxi for around 700 Yen to this park.
