After a delicious lunch typical of the Alto Mayo region, we entered the Palestina Cave to a depth of 200m and explored the limestone rock. To finish off the day, our new friends took an icy bath in the place where the Tioyacu River is born. You can bet the three hour drive back to Tarapoto was a silent one as we were all sleeping!
