We take a day trip from Tbilisi, GEORGIA to visit the wine region of Georgia and the Mountain region of Kazbegi in Georgia. Here are the TOP 5 MUST VISIT Places In GEORGIA - Things To Do & Eat - Travel Guide - Trip To Kazbegi, Kakheti, Ananuri, Gudauri
We also had an amazing time making georgian food and learned how to make georgian bread and churchkela. We also had a wine tour and learned about the different types of georgian wine. I have to say that Georgian wine is HANDS DOWN THE BEST wine I've had in my life! Especially the house wine! DELICIOUS! It was also interesting to learn about the Georgian wine making history!
Tbilisi is amazing, but stepping away from Tbilisi to the outskirts of Georgia is also an amazing experience!
The wine tour included a city tour of Signani. There we also got the chance to see the signani city walls. And while traveling to Kazbegi, we stopped by the Zinvali dam, Ananuri Fort and Gudauri mountain which was COVERED in snow at the moment! We also experienced our very first snow here in Kazbegi. An experience we will never forget in our life! And Rooms, hotels in Kazbegi is SIMPLY MIND BLOWING! We loved Georgia, and we wish to travel to Georgia again soon in summer!

At first, I didn't know where Georgia was. Is it a part of Europe? Or a part of Asia? Since promo fares were always available from Dubai, so I booked my ticket nevertheless. I didn't know what to expect then. But I never thought that it was going to be one of the most epic vacations I've had this 2017.

Tbilisi (Georgian: თბილისი [tʰb̥ilisi] ( listen)) is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River. The name is derived from an early Georgian form T'pilisi (ტფილისი) and it was officially known as Tpilisi (in Georgian) or Tiflis (in Russian) until 1936.[1] The city covers an area of 726 km2 (280 sq mi) and has 1,480,000 inhabitants.
Founded in the 5th century by Vakhtang Gorgasali, the monarch of Georgia's precursor Kingdom of Iberia, Tbilisi has served, with various intervals, as Georgia's capital for nearly 1500 years and represents a significant industrial, social, and cultural center of the country. Located near the southeastern edge of Europe, Tbilisi's proximity to lucrative east-west trade routes often made the city a point of contention between various rival empires throughout history and the city's location to this day ensures its position as an important transit route for global energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's varied history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, classical, and Soviet structures.
Historically, Tbilisi has been home to peoples of diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though it is now overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian. Notable tourist destinations include cathedrals like Sameba and Sioni, classical Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue, medieval Narikala Fortress, pseudo-Moorish Opera Theater, and the Georgian National Museum...
very near Tbilisi is situated the first Georgian capital Mtskheta.
Mtskheta (Georgian: მცხეთა), one of the oldest cities of the country of Georgia (in Kartli province of Eastern Georgia), is located approximately 20 kilometers north of Tbilisi at the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. The city (population 19,423 as of January 1, 2008) is now the administrative centre of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. Due to its historical significance and numerous ancient monuments, the Historical Monuments of Mtskheta became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
The old city lies at the confluence of the rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi. The rare blend of cultural values had ruled in this part of the world since the Bronze Age until prosperous Christian era over the unique eclectic lifestyle creating the mood of the town which is as old as the history of Georgia. Mtskheta is the most religious city of Georgia as it has been the shrine of pagan idols since times immemorial and it is where Christianity in Georgia takes its origin...
Here's my poetry:
Gudauri, Kazbegi, Georgia. Travelling around the world. Third trip with friends.
In this video I tried to represent the whole beauty of this country-mother-nature. We had a long ride to the mountains up&up. We stopped more than 5 times to capture all the beautiful sides and panoramic view of the nature. Also we had a beautiful horizon flashing in our car windows. We felt the whole atmosphere and the force of the mountains and took a deep breath just to catch the moment that we are alive. It was an amazing trip that started early in the morning. And it is a pleasure for us too let you feel this moment and wake up a desire in you to travel wherever you want to.

Signagi:
Signagi or Sighnaghi (Georgian: სიღნაღი) is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Signagi Municipality. Although it is one of Georgia's smallest towns,Signagi serves as a popular tourist destination due to its location at the heart of Georgia's wine-growing regions, as well as its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Located on a steep hill, Signagi overlooks the vast Alazani Valley, with the Caucasus Mountains visible at a distance.
The town has an area of 2.978 km² with 24.3% being residential.Signagi is approximately 113 km southeast of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Signagi District is adjacent, on the town’s east and southwest sides. Signagi is situated in the eastern foothills of the Gombori Range, a watershed between the Iori and Alazani valleys, in a productive agricultural and fruit-growing region. At the elevation of about 790 m above sea level, the town overlooks the Alazani Valley and faces the Greater Caucasus mountains.
Signagi has a mild Mediterranean-like climate. There are four seasons, with winters being moderately cold while summers can be hot. The highest average temperature is in July at 24.3°C while the lowest average temperature is in January at 0.2°C. Average annual precipitation ranges from 602.1 to 949.7 mm, with the heaviest occurring during the spring months and early summer.
Signagi and its environs are home to several historical and cultural monuments and has been specifically protected by the State since 1975. The town is walled with the remnants of 18th-century fortifications. There are two Georgian Orthodox churches in the town itself - one dedicated to St. George and the other to St. Stephen. The venerated Bodbe Monastery is located 2 kilometers from Signagi and is a place of pilgrimage due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century apostle of Georgia.
The local Ethnographic and Archaeological Museum dating from the 1950s was upgraded and developed into a modern-standard exhibition the – Signagi Museum – in 2007. Signagi is known as a City of Love in Georgia, with many couples visiting it just to get married.Wikipedia
