Nagu is a former municipality of Finland. On 1 January 2009, it was consolidated with Houtskär, Iniö, Korpo and Pargas to form the new town of Väståboland. It was created on January 1, 2009, when the municipalities of Ekenäs, Karis and Pohja were consolidated into a single town.The town has a population of 27,792 and covers an area of 2,354.24 square kilometres of which 1,206.47 km2 is water. This summer I experienced the great outdoors in Southwest Finland. I went biking, hiking, kayaking, SUPing and swimming in the baltic sea after enjoying a finnish sauna. And these are just a few things to do in Finland in summer!

Ich habe den Sommer genutzt um Südfinnland zu entdecken, mit all seinen Outdoor-Möglichkeiten. So habe ich Helsinki auf dem Rad und im Kayak entdeckt, den Nuuksio Nationalpark erwandert, die Inselwelt des Schärenmeers im Kayak durchpaddelt und vor Ort nach typisch finnischer Sauna ein Bad in der Ostsee genommen. In Hanko habe ich mich zudem im Stand-Up-Paddleboarding versucht.

Dieses Video zeigt nur einen Teil der Sehenswürdigkeiten in Finnland, sowie der Aktivitäten - auch das Seengebiet und Lapland im Norden sind tolle Reiseziele im Sommer. Sauna geht aber überall und zu jeder Zeit ;)

In early July, I went to Finland. I not only wanted to discover its amazing natural landscapes but also its urban life. That's when I met Tapsa, a Finnish sailor, who described me his idea of Finland.

Trip around Turku Archipelago

We did a trip around Turku Archipelago over the weekend. Turku Archipelago consists of a large number of beautiful islands including Nauvo, Korppoo, Houtskär, Iniö and many others. It is possible to drive around the Ring Road which goes through all the largest islands. The islands have several high-quality restaurants, hotels and sightseeing places that are well worth a visit. Levererades 1 juni 1989 till Delfin Risteilyt Oy, Nagu, Finland. Planerad för kryssningar i alla tänkbara förhållanden. Idén var att hon med sin storlek skulle kunna segla även till små hamnar.
Sommartid skulle hon segla från Åbo till Visby och Stockholm, från september till december skulle hon göra Stockholmskryssningar, samt 24-timmarskryssningar. Vintertid var det meningen att hon skulle uthyras till någon resebyrå för kryssningar i Medelhavet eller Karibien. Sommarsäsongen gick hyfsat, men ej på vinst.
1990 01 26. Utchartrad till Sally Line Oy, Mariehamn, Finland för ersättning för SALLY ALBATROSS som hade brunnit upp på Finnboda varv. Omdöpt till SALLY CLIPPER.
