Nivå is a town with a population of 7,801 in the municipality of Fredensborg on the island of Zealand in Denmark. Nivå is a residential town on the coast of the Øresund. It has a stop on the Copenhagen – Helsingør Kystbanen rail line. The town is a home for Nivaagaard museum, marina, and a small shopping center by railway station, which includes a library, Fakta, Netto and Spar supermarkets. The town possesses two schools; Nivå Skole Syd and Nivå Skole Nord , whilst a golf course lies to the West. Its landscape is varied and ranges from marshland to suburban habitations. 20% or more of the inhabitants have a foreign background.

1. Frederiksborg Castle Hillerod
Frederiksborg Castle is a palatial complex in Hillerød, Denmark. It was built as a royal residence for King Christian IV of Denmark-Norway in the early 17th century, replacing an older castle acquired by Frederick II and becoming the largest Renaissance residence in Scandinavia. Situated on three islets in the Slotssøen , it is adjoined by a large formal garden in the Baroque style. After a serious fire in 1859, the castle was rebuilt on the basis of old plans and paintings. Thanks to public support and the brewer J. C. Jacobsen, the building and its apartments were fully restored by 1882 when it was reopened to the public as the Danish Museum of National History. Stubbe Sø is one of the most unfished lakes in Denmark. Not because there aren't fish. 120 tons where fished up 10 years ago as part of a restoration project. This lake is the 3. largest in Denmark. If you are looking for adventure, you might consider using your social skills + money/wine to get permission to fish from land owners. Very few have overcome this challenge.

Charlotte Amalie var 47 m långt och 9 m brett skepp och återupptäcktes 2002.

Fishing Denmark/ Glatved Coastline/ + hiking/ Winter 2013/ Djursland

The Glatved coast is one of the best coastlines for fishing/hiking in Jutland, Denmark. Sea trout, flatfish, mullet and garfish. Varied landscape - some of it origination from decades of limestone extraction 60 + years ago. Undisturbed fishing and hiking. Very few people - not overfished.
