Nkongsamba is a city in western Cameroon. It is located in the Moungo department, which is in the Littoral region. The city had a population of 104,050 inhabitants at the 2005 Census. The city is a centre of farming of Palm oils, Bananas and Coffee, and is situated between two mountains, the Manengouba Massif and Mount Nlonako. The centre point is called Ville, which is the same as downtown. The places away from Ville or downtown are measured in Kilo, for kilometer. Mbo is one of the languages used locally: in the district around, such languages as Kaa and Baneka are used, both reportedly somewhat like Mbo.
